I've played for about 2 hours tonight, since S7 is coming and that R99 skin is the most immaculate thing to grace this disgustingly unpolished mudball of a planet, I decided I needed to get back into the groove of playing. Needless to say, I was massively out-performed my teammates save for 3 instances, and SBMM continues to make me play like I do this for a living in order to have a smidgeon of a good time.

Soon I found myself amidst the brain and the brawn of Apex, who with their intellect and genius did everything in their power to spoil my games in every way possible.My team is in the top 3, one team is between my team and the 2nd team(forming a nice little isosceles triangle). But my stupid teammates decided to run into the middle of the two teams and get butchered. I was butchered too ofc, in a classic 1v3.Green- My team's positionBlue- 2nd teamRed- 3rd teamGrey- My two teammate's 500 IQ rotation with no cover at all.

@BaldWraithSimp I had a good team today. Needed 3 games to complete dailies (except the outlive one).First game... cant remember... Don’t even remember touching the ground honestly... Likely didn’t even do that.2nd game... We clean house well. Landing at my ‘hide bodies in the chemical ice’ local and advancing on a team at that big building nearby location and take out that squad before going into fragment and 3rd partying and taking out squad before moving to harvester where I succumb to my injuries ☹️ but there were only 2 ppl left and my team got them... Still near a respawn beacon so I ask path to throw zipline so I can get respawned and get some items before ring closes... Does not do it... ring closes and it’s us vs them... at a respawn beacon point so I know its a 3-man team. I get revived, 2 teammates go down and 1 enemy... I revive one, immediately down and me next... game won.We could’ve won that but it was ALOT better than usual games. It was due to my own carelessness that I got killed...

@Koochi-QI had a bloodhound on my team who just left after getting downed(my 2nd last game). One enemy was left with 30 or so HP and I was fully healed. As I killed the enemy I saw the disconnect button on his tag. I was really disappointed tbh. We finished 2nd in the game, would have won if that guy was with us.Like Pathy says "You tried and that's all that matters". Minus "also winning" xD

Ehhh, the usual sweaty lobbies combined with the fact the game seems to be stuttering like hell today.Fun times.

I've played for about an hour and a half this morning. I stopped playing consistently on 8/31/2020, about 2 months ago with literally no Apex from then until now, and my aim is bad. I'm not hitting what I should be hitting, and that's just one of those things you get back with practice. Yet somehow, I'm still beating my teammates in damage, kills, decision making, etc. etc. My third game this morning, I had a Gibralter call his ulti down on a teammate, then run through it subsequently killing himself. Guy was level 250. Had a Pathfinder grapple straight into the middle of 3 squads all shooting at each other and then died shortly after. A Mirage who wants to shoot at a target with a Hemlok that's 150 meters away burst fire. 2 months without playing Apex, and I'm still out-performing my team, while still facing the same Predator / Diamond / Master players I always have. There's a problem that needs to be addressed here, and it certainly isn't me. I'm really starting to rethink my decision to practice for S7.

@pastaclown I only come in for the dailies. I’m gonna do R99 training day before new season.

But yesterday... 5 drops after each other worthless JM. Either hotdrops extremely late or jumps 1.5-2km to a place the Gdang dropship trajectory is going... so 5 times I was out of the lobby in less than 10 secs.

4 times after that teammates that either ran off on their own, couldn’t hold their own or were afk so me still at 0 kills, 2 downs after 9 ‘matches’ that lasted no more than 1 min each (still better than the 0 kills/0 downs by my teammates). After that luckily I was JM, 1 time just bad luck and other times had competent teammates mostly.

One match was going extremely well. Dusted 3 teams quite early on with 7 kills under my belt in first 4 mins or so... went to fragment, we killed another team and I heard a team in that large building so I pinged an enemy... lifeline runs straight for it. I hear a sheila all of a sudden (probs 20m from lifeline) but lifeline still runs towards it and dies... ☹️

There went my thinking that I had competent teammate xD

It's about the same. Respawn actually wants me to drop 80% of my games it turns out.
But I like the other 20% and my win ration is on par so I'm pretty pleased.
You have to quit most games early, so you can enjoy the game plus save you and all your team mates time.

@pastaclown Been ok for me but I've been lucky enough to have actual teammates. Lots of smurf accounts running around I've noticed.

Cant even aim sometimes
1. Enemies pop out of nowhere
2. Enemies can escape from ur screen when they go to cover mean when u go to see that cover no one is there and enemies is gone without passing ur screen
3. When enemies comes or peaks out of the cover they already have shot u some bullets.
4. Once damaged cant even cover up they will finish u if no squad
5. When i saw enemie to bend down they shoot as if i were running

@pastaclown For me , sbmm still broken and lag has reached new levels of ridiculous. Used to be average of 16-20ms for me and my buddies and now since crossplay was implemented were looking at a minimum of 45-90ms on the closest server .

@pastaclown A solo mode in Apex would be like a solo mode in a Football game. It's not meant or designed to be solo AT ALL.

I get it though. I often don't have friends to play with. I think a better solution than adding a whole new mode to dilute the playerbase, would be to improve SBMM. It get's tiring playing with randoms when there's a premade squad of 3 on the server wiping everyone. I think if you're in a pre-made squad, you should be matched with other pre-made squads. If if you're a solo that has que'd with other randoms, then your server should be full of randoms as well.

I get 3-7 teammate who loot unnecessary things in mid of fight in open area even they don't even bother to strafe while looting xd
