Map rotation is stormpoint and olympus, the two worst maps in the game. Flatline and volt are no longer floor loot, these are my favourite weapons! And caustic is getting yet another nerf!!
Not looking forward to season 12 at all!
When it comes to new season/character trailers Apex knocks it out the park pretty much every time but as an Apex player from day 1 even my love for the game has been diminishing over time particularly over the past few seasons or so. I just don't get the same buzz like I used to at the start of every new season probably due to lower expectation levels fuelled by the disappointment of previous seasons & failure to genuinely fix long running game issues.And with that the only real highlights of the upcoming season 12 for me are;
*Next Gen Upgrade (better late than never)
*New character Maggie
*Shelving WE
*Spitfire back on the floor (apparently sometime during season 12)
But according to various reports there's no guarantee that the next gen upgrade will happen at the start of season 12 but to implement the next gen upgrade controller/console players will be hit by an aiming nerf (to AA mostly) regardless if your a last gen or next gen player.And will a 'next gen upgrade' mean a smoother running game with better colouring or better audio.The rumour mill suggest that Maggie might suffer the same fate as Seer thus being too OP at the start of the season & will inevitably be over-nerfed within days/weeks.Having considerably reduced my play time in season 11 by rotating the 2 worst maps in the game in WE & Stormpoint I'm just not overly impressed with the 'changes' to Olympus whilst no tweaks been made to Kings Canyon or Stormpoint (so it's same old same old) & so the hotspots will still be same.And whilst Olympus maybe a 'bigger' map' it'll be pointless without a better spread-out of loot/weapons etc.I have no interest in the new mode 'Control' as it's a mode I've played in other games like Splitgate,Overwatch,COD etc & just don't like & tend to avoid it (team Deathmatch would have been a better option instead).
I certainly won't be buying the season 12 pass at the start of the season this time & will wait about a month before making a decision as I don't want to get my fingers burnt again by trying to grind through a season I don't particularly like.
I predict that next gen update will not occur on Tuesday. Servers taking a crap is a regular feature of season launches. I don't think such a major change will be planned simultaneously with season launch.
lol every other heroes tactical can be broken why should caustic get a free pass when it clutters vision, stuns and damages
if you can only use 2 guns and an OP hero its not the game its you
@Marge010Agree except Olympus is the only good map, but let's just agree to disagree. The changes they made should make it even better.
