I’m unsure who and why they thought it was a good idea to give a Legend the ability to see all good loot through walls. In a game where 3 strangers (sometimes friends) are fighting each other for good loot. Yoinking armor and weapons out from one another. Now ai get to play with a random teammate who doesn’t even have to go from room to room to hoard all the purple and gold items because he can see them through the god damn walls. I swear if she can see blue items as well and she can hoard all the shield batteries I’m uninstalling Apex that day. We all know what will happen is every Loba wil grab the best armor, attachments, batteries, med kits then instantly get killed and stripped of loot by the enemy team .

@rickyressel If someone is hoarding loot then that's on him, not the character. You can grapple and yoink loot from your teammates, use octane's stim to yoink loot, and so on. Besides the passive has a radius, so it's not like you can see loot from 100 meters. Hoarders will always hoard, it doesn't matter which legend they pick. Will Loba's passive give her better loot? Yes. Since she will know where purple/legendary armor is, it would be easier for her to get it. But generalizing everyone is just stupid. You are making an assumption that everyone who picks Loba will not share loot and will die instantly. Like wtf? Pathfinder/octane can outrun you to a care package/drone drops or run off to a vault all by themselves to take the better loot. Stop generalizing, be open-minded. Team players will always help their teammates no matter the legend they pick. If you are so worried about randoms go find a team. Randoms will always disappoint you. A bunch of loot goblins won't make me quit Apex for sure. Cheers!

@rickyressel Let me tell you some general stereotypes that I have heard(not mine) -Octane- The loot goblinPathfinder- Loot Goblin and will grapple far away from the team and then dieWraith- Solo drop and then immediately quit after dyingPeople will make stereotypes but that doesn't mean it's true in every single case. Heck, these stereotypes are true in only a few of the cases but they are still around. That's exactly what you are doing that too without even playing her. Smh people will go to any length to make up some crazy opinions.

@rickyressel I definitely understand your concern, and i'm not exactly happy at the thought of a teammate becoming a Diablo 3 lootgoblin for an enemy team.But it can also go the other way, first win of the season was a game where i played mirage and my Loba random teammate went and pinged me a gold shield.Against the last duo he died and got thirsted but I secured a win for us both with that gold (which gave the winning edge) and some crafty decoy plays.

Ok, I’m man enough to admit when I’m wrong. Not only have I NOT run into loot goblin Lobas. Loba is super handy to have around from what I’ve experienced so far. My post was pre-mature and over exaggerated. I’m wrong and I apologize.

I hate Loba and ai haven’t even played with her yet

you can use her to take high tier loot and share/ping it with your teamate.
the proplem isn't with loba , it's with player. how he use loba ability.

Although I will say, Loba+Staycation=Nightmare Teammate. He was already a loot goblin. Now he just runs around like a loot vacuum while his team gets slaughtered then he jump drives away and lets his teams death boxes expire. It’s extremely frustrating to watch.
