I just can't keep up with pubs anymore

I stopped playing ranked since season 5, it's a mess, it's a horror story if you SoloQ and that's what I do since day one

Every season is getting harder because obviously, people are improving, specially if you love to grind the game.

But pubs, seriously I feel like I am in the f**king AGL's every time when I play, people Wattsoning and Causticing up in buildings (that's just the small part), sweaty try-hards who play like their life depends on it.

If I play trios I get faced with 3 stack players, if I play duos I get faced with 2 stack players, I guess the game thinks I'm some kind of God (which I'm not) because usually, the campions who I see in my games are mostly diamonds, masters, or predators and also I get killed by them, but I get bot teammates, under lvl100 who have no brains, drop hot, die under 1 minute, and I am alone, always alone, so thanks to this, which I know I shouldn't do, I started to develop a really bad habit, I just solo jump now, Yes I know I shouldn't, but I don't see any point of random teammates in this game, when I detach from them they land and they instantly die or die after maximum 5 minutes, and because of this, again, I know I shouldn't, but I judge every team member under the same hat sadly.

Even if I stay with my teammates, every game is so f**king sweaty that I have to dry my balls with a hairdryer after every game, and usually I have to 1v2 or 1v3 while my teammates are dead or knocked down and not to mention while I am doing this, I'm getting sniped from the back from 200 meters by another team, if I make it out alive guess what here comes the third party (I admit the third party depends on which map you play on but it happens more frequently on every map now)

I spent so much time to improve my aim which I did, I am f**king old but I practiced wall jumping as well so as zipline movement (which I still struggle with) just so I can hold my own because I have to depend on my self

I am not gonna surf in the LFG section I tried, didn't work, people who you find online come and go, same s**t different smell

Clubs are useless, again it favors the people who are friends or already a team, even if you join one if you get accepted, people are just there and do their own business

Damn I am so exausted now

    I know that in the end the answer would be to "get good" at the game but me and friends are always with pred lobbies. Our KDRs are only 0.8-1.3. We just wanna have fun at casual lobbies but I guess people are really getting good at this game.

    The base game had huge price reduction. I predict it will become like free like Destiny 2 to attract new players then usual "entice" with DLC/Season Pass using FOMO.

    Destiny 2 base game is free to play and having a blast without paying for any seasons yet. But straight up I put most hours into Killing Floor 2, plain old fashion FPS fun.

    Hope you take a break and find another game to mix in with Apex!

    @Renegade_Prime86 It has been a rough few days for matchmaking for me. Even when I get teammates that seem to want to play together, one will throw the game right at the end. Had one that instead of going to the top of the hill to take position ran down the hill straight at the enemy and died without doing any damage. Me and the other person had the 3rd member of the squad down to 1 bullet before going down. Then I had a lifeline who rather than get to final position before the last 2 teams went to a care package. On the mic I begged her not to do it. You can guess what happened, after getting the care package she was jumped and killed by a team between us and her. My and the 2nd fought really well but because it was 2v3v3 we eventually went down.

    Yesterday I spent 3 hours with someone who only hot drops, searching for that one great game. That was the most mentally exhausting thing I've ever been a part of on this game.

    I agree with @E9_ACTV. The smurfing is completely out of hand. The fact you can just keep making accounts also means people will cheat more and more.

    I totally feel your pain , I stopped doing ranked since season 3 and it was exactly how you described, a horror story
    Am trying my luck again with the new map but still struggling and the stress has increased to the point it could really really effect the person's health and this happen when you stop playing for fun and start playing to accomplish something .
    And to all who is in here , if some day I suddenly disappear means I had a heart attack becuase of Apex so I want you to sue Respawn on my behalf if that happened 😛

    Just thought also I've been getting back to Division 2.

    Didn't know there was just 1 expansion released. The whole package is probably like £15 now.

    This is a pretty complex match making coop loot shooter with alot of stats.

    Great campaigns too in kind of open world. Can just do intro mission to unlock match making coop if you want. Borderlands 3, Anthem and Destiny 2 force you to do their long story to unlock coop. This game does not.

    Maybe check out youtube reviews. I think this may be more your thing as loot is persistent and players take this game very seriously or you're kicked
