Respawn wanted to keep their favorite streamers be happy with Streamer building? I absolutely see no other reason, the most toxic n dumb Hot drop building wasn't touched. I just don't get how you keep that crap for the sake of those streamers. Way to go on WE update.
@WreckingViI really hate this place and I hope they remove it using a mass destruction weapon or something, it needs to be wiped out completely.

In all honesty, I prefer to land where it's hot and just get on with it. If you survive, you'll have a couple of kills and some pretty good gear. If you don't, starting another game is quick (this is why I gave up on COD. Great game, but the turnaround takes ages and this stupid Gulag thing they had was ridiculous... ya, I want to spend 10 minutes throwing rocks at some dude in the toilets).
I'd much rather die quick than skulk around for 15 minutes gearing up and getting mowed down at 200 yards by some clown with a Flatline and have another 0 damage game.
And yes, I *loved* skulltown. Almost certain death but the hilarious *-shows I've seen there were world class.
As for "Streamers" and "content creators" I have no idea why people care so much. I really couldn't give a toss what they think or do as I don't watch them. Zero interest. The highlight "IQ" or "funny" apex players I enjoy sometimes but I'm hardly going to tune in for hours watching some dude play. That's just weird unless they are *really* entertaining. Ragg Tagg was brilliant before he had to start censoring what he was saying.

I realise it's not always in your control. When I'm not the jumpmaster sometimes we go to places I don't like. For example, in KC I *hate* the airport, I think it's a crap place to land but if that is where my squad is going I put my big boy pants on and just deal with it. I'll try and stick with my squad and help out as best I can. That's part of the game. People who solo drop do my head in as everyone is at a disadvantage them.
On World's edge I love Estates. Basically their version of SkullTown. Many don't like it and if we end up going somewhere else that's ok too. I can be crap anywhere.

People seem to want a TDM so give them one that is fragment as a map. Then you can die within 20 seconds and get back into the action even faster. A win win.
@hayhor Not sure it's as bad as you are making out. In a typical apex session when I play we usually end up hitting a good chunk of the map. If I'm in it to win it with a proper squad I'll play the long game, land on edge and stick to edge of ring.
Most of my play is with randoms though. Most of them are too busy eating glue to appreciate tactics, playstyle or communication so you just do the best you can. Just get busy then!
