If Anyone Doubted... THE HACKS ARE IN!

Edited by CM

I have played a couple rounds in which my death felt really suspect. Players killing me with multiple headshots from great distances with automatic fire for example. This video confirms it is definitely at the least possible I was a victim of hacking or aimbotting.

Really not the point though as I think the vast majority of games I play are cheat free. That said, I just really wanted to bring more attention to this and make sure it's known the cheating is happening. I had already heard, but here is more proof.

  • Honestly I don't even know what to write as a reply right now, but I'll try to comply with all of the EA forum rules. I am apparently allowed to discuss the forum rules, at least with any sort of disagreement, as that is a violation of the rules. Hopefully that comment is acceptable.

Basically, I tried to make an edit to my original post discussing the fact that I was not allowed to post a video because it had someone in it cheating whose name was identifiable. It is my understanding that you may not post any media which shows someone cheating, hacking, cheesing, exploiting, etc.

To me, this is ridiculous, though I fully understand it is the right of EA to make and enforce such a rule. It seems the types of commentary you can post and media you can link is very restricted. I genuinely don't think I can say more because I feel my comment or post will be edited or deleted.

I don't even know if any of you should reply or discuss the issue further, because it may be considered questioning forum rules as well. No I am not exaggerating for effect or trying to be dramatic. I just want to make some sort of rules compliant comment which still expresses my experience.

I guess I'll end on the point that perhaps the EA forums are not a great place to have open and honest discussions about EA games or the practices of EA as a company and publisher in general. This sort of crippling moderation only serves to add to their currently poor reputation.

  • So I'll start by saying that if someone is hacking it is insanely obvious and blatant. So if you "think" someone is hacking then they probably aren't. You can spectate after they kill you and your squad by pressing TAB. They'll be able to find people from across the map with ease and laser them without missing a single shot even through the smallest window openings. All hacks from what I know are paid which is why they are extremely rare and people only find them every so often. I still think EA should really HWID ban or do what CSGO did and add a prime feature that you can pay to join that way it'll detour the hackers more and make them have to at least buy "prime' access to join those servers which will keep them strictly on the f2p model.

To me this is more proof that you guys are blowing it way out of proportion when you hear them all talk about how this is the first hacker they have seen and they play what 8 hrs a day but then on forums people say that the top 3 there is always at least one hacker yeah you guys need to stop crying and realize it is very rare

Why do you keep defending the lack of action from EA. It doesn't really matter how many there are, the point is they are there. Its the same as saying hey its only one serial killer, who cares, its not that bad cause he didn't kill me. . .

You guys seem to forget this is PC gaming...EVERY single game has hackers. Nothing to do with EA/Blizzard/Valve any other gaming company on this planet. MMO's = hackers. Shooters = hackers. ANY GAME ON PC = hackers. It's part of what it is. They find a way to stop them, then they find another way around. Why you ask? Cause it's profitable, they sell the Apex hacks which is why it's not so widespread. Now all they have to do to put a huge damper on this is HWID bans but theres a multitude of reasons why almost no one implements this. Also HWID aren't completely fool proof there are still ways to bypass even those without buying new hardware. All they can do is continue to combat them best they can and that's it. This may sound all negative and bleh, but as a PC gamer since I was like 6 (now 28) this is just absolutely normal and expected. I expect them to take care of them fast and add a report feature to make submitting them in much easier and less hassle but other than that, they'll always be here and in every other game. Even LoL has script users it's unavoidable in any game. Even on console but consoles require modification which makes it SUPER rare comparatively but console FPS games IMO are horrid when your used to PC gaming.

I didn’t say that there were no cheaters I just said the noobs of this game blow it way out of proportion just like all the noobs on console say everyone uses xim it’s the truth if cheating was as bad as this forum claims the game would be un-playable but it’s all good keep believing everytime you die it is a cheater that killed you I don’t mind

I just came up against a hacker now, it wasn't really obvious what sort of hack it was, but he was able to just lock on to me with an SMG and have zero recoil even at great distances when I was watching him, it's not like they were all headshots but it was obviously cheating, he had about 15 kills in the game.

  • Lol I wonder if they was the same game I just played where I had a chinese cheater on my team. Spectated him after dying and he's snapping onto people through trees at over 150m. Headshots on every hit, no recoil on any gun. While spraying his R301 his aim is snapping back and forth between players, always to the head. It's too bad the chinese market is so profitable, it's such a toxic market for cheaters. After seeing the way these cheats actually behave, I think I've encountered a few more cheaters in the past than I first thought. Not many, maybe 3 or 4 that I kind of suspected but wasn't really sure. Either way, I'm lv 99 and at most I think I've seen upwards of 10 cheaters and definitely 4 of them were cheating.
