If people don't play Apex anymore today, what would be the reason?
For me, the lack of patches, when something is obviously broken, we had to wait for months along with the big event update, and then we're getting sick and tired of it.

- @Extremejinks A week ago? I’ve said it multiple times a day for last 4 months xD. I just recently made a thread about it. And it’s a ‘gamer’ expression, not to be confused with really not doing the thing that you are actually done with. Just like a married couple saying they’re done with their marriage but stay married for years more.
That being said, if you dont count the handfull of times on the day of that post and the grinding I did while the KC fixed loot was present, I havent played apex since late S3...
So quite accurate with what you’re trying to imply. I’m just still on the forums cause it brings me joy & pleasure to see ppl complain and pooptalk about stuff. And love the random banter ;D
PS: the XP counter on my initial post keeps rising so people, even tho they dont wanna agree with me, know I’m right :P Constant lag would make me stop playing.
Thankfully I only get lag occasionaly on resets when the servers spike.
I do not see myself stopping this game anytime soon.
I pretty much have stopped playing went to warzone, Being no solos same dam map every time, crappy loot system. Crappy hit boxes on certain toons.
No stability. No audio. No fixes. No content. No communication. No hackers. No heirlooms. Wait..
Low content , bad lagging servers, waiting ages for bugs fixes.
The 20-tick servers.

I'll still play it. Albeit not as often. But something that is severely disappointing are the connective issues that plague the title. And instead of taking responsibility for their issues just point the finger at ones own ISP.
We are all aware of the awkward hitboxes. Horrible tick rate. Bad hit registration. Awful audio. Mismatched SBMM. Etc....
So it would be nice for them to actually acknowledge some of it. Instead of remaining silent or placing blame elsewhere. And then releasing another LTM for people to temporarily forget what complaints there were. Only for them to resurface again and again.
Though the one praise I can give them is that they have top notch cosmetics. This is an area where they excel. The map and character rendering are great. The mechanics are not bad either.
However with the glaring issues at hand it distracts what accomplishments the company has made through this title.
SBMM. I can't stand it anymore. I am a pretty good player but can only ever play in lobbies with the best of the best. I played solo for the first 8 months or so of this game working my way from a negative kd having never played BR before to the point where I could get a double digit kill game every day. I switched consoles and spent a ton of money on a pro controller so I could play with my girl who got heavily into apex after I goaded he enough. But soon after the SBMM escalated ridiculously and I was only ever forced into extreme lobbies. I remember when it first happened, it seemed that every champion and every player i was killed by had the 4k 20kill badges which I have never been able to get over the hump and obtain with my highest game being 18. So now i went from expecting 8-12 kills per game to expecting 0-5 where I occasionally have a very good game and drop maybe 8 or 9. But the worst part is that my girl only has a KD of .6 now because they are forcing her to play against players as good or better than me and she just can't compete. That means I usually can't compete against a full squad. She is frustrated and doesn't want to play with me any longer. So now I have spent this extra money on this game and a scuff for absolutely nothing as i preferred the elite controller anyway. My KD plummeted as well. It is completely infuriating to me when I watch her play solo with other randoms and see the lack of competition and understand why she would rather play alone, and I am left playing by myself against pull pred squads and knowing that those badges I worked so hard for and refused to ever cheese to get will never be obtained.
lag + clueless devs who refuse to fix the matchmaking
I hate being solo, and everyone I know who played has stopped.I plan on not going for the next season pass, and just maybe playing the events from now on, or uninstalling, who knows.
