Im frustrated that we are going to play this event for 2 weeks. This game isnt optimalised well with its colour settings, people with night blindness suffer really bad. I do get why you make all maps with night mode because Halloween is coming and it supposed to be spooky and night woooh scary. But people with/out night blindness are suffering. Its hard to see opponents in game, its sad that my K/D has been decreased from 1.5 to 1.3 in a few days as a hard proof that im suffering in this event. Digi threat doesnt do the job. Everything is dark and people like to pick dark skins and hide in the shadows. I dont have fun in this event and its not only me. Recent days i have spoken to many creators, active members on steam forum and reddit. We are not minority who suffer from this issue. Its big issue than you can image. Many people have been complaining this. Its unnecessary to put all maps in game with night mode. Its too extreme.

When is this ridiculous Halloween map event on apex gonna be done. I’m about to quit playing all together since I don’t have a choice whether or not I’m on the garbage Halloween maps

@RuskiNahuicyky I agree. I have been struggling with both seeing enemies and aiming since the night maps started. I think the look of the maps is cool with the scary effects and stuff, but I think they need to make the players appear brighter because the whole event for me has been walking into a sniper attack, lol.I remember we were in a large warehouse and we thought nobody was there, I suddenly see "Marked by Vantage" on the screen and I'm like wtf??? I look around and still couldn't see anyone. Like one of you were saying, people hide in the shadows.

The maps and special effects are cool, what I hate about it is I can't see the enemies. It's so dark and the enemies blend in with the background and I lose more fights. I wish they would keep the candy idea as a way to charge the armor all the time though.

Not too sure because I know that these types of events don't last very long.

Not sure about this. In regular play you can evo your armor with damage, by crafting it up, or by finding a good shield on the ground. With candy there's less incentive to fight and more incentive to loot. That suits me down to the ground but I'm pretty sure the other 99.99999% of players will have a problem with it.
