How is the solo experience? Are you dealing with 3 stack team on pubs every single lobbies now? When was the last time you had a decent game? Do you resort to camping because you got match up with bots all the time? Do share your experience. Also, don't get me started with Apex legend official discord. Finding teammates of APAC is close to non-existence.
Matchmaking was always bad. Then, briefly last season it wasn't. Now it's pretty bad again. Except in Wildcard where it just doesn't matter. More on Wildcard shortly. Ash is still a joke. Weapons are still poorly balanced. I get to the end of a Wildcard match and all I hear is pistol fire. I've quit matches for less. The new non-Wildcard perks, or whatever it is they're calling them, are more change for the sake of change and have made absolutely zero difference to how I play or what I do in the match. The Wildcard perks, on the other hand, are, like the mode itself, laughable.
Wildcard. I get that the entire point of the mode is to have nothing mean anything. Kills have zero value because the guy you just killed will respawn and drop next to you and one clip you. But your deaths don't matter either because you just keep coming back. The matchmaking is bad, but no worse than any other mode, and, as noted, at least it doesn't matter in Wildcard. And your hot-drop teammates won't quit on you as soon as they get downed. So there's that. All in all, there's not a lot of reason to play it because it's pointless. But that's also why you play it. Can't explain it any other way. Worst part though is that it makes me not want to play the main game anymore, where your squadmates implode in 19th place and I'm left to ghost through the match until I get to second place and recon the other squad. There are always three of them, one of them is always an Ash, and then I just quit before they can fire a single aimbotted bullet at me. Waste of eighteen minutes. Every. Single. Match.
10 seasons ago i think there was one good solo queued ranked game which was fun.
For now on I'm just here to read all the comments about solo queuing, matchmaking, finding teammates, etc., while shaking my head.
I don't think anything has changed its just more noticeable when your teammates are bad now because it puts you in a worse position than any other season before because of the drop in system the map is riddled with players making respawning them more difficult than ever because 15 out of the 20 teams seem to rat next to respawn beacons and crafters (because genuinely with how little points you get for kills there's not much motivation for players to do anything other than poking across the map and wait until top 5).
I think you're just being punished more as a solo because of the lack of communication like you really cant just be in the open or aimlessly moving this season because there is literally a team at every POI with 3030s or charge rifles ready to 2/3 hit you.
This season's probably the least fun I have had in ranked apex, few weeks in and it feels stale, slow and boring but I guess this is the kind of gameplay the devs want to force for some reason.

I encountered the same guy three times in Platinum 4. He dealt a total of 64 damage. The ranking system is so shameful and ridiculous that even those who play stealthily and don't know how to play can rank up. I've mentioned this in previous threads, but people call it "gameplay." It's truly sad.
There's no penalty for swearing on the microphone. They just say "ban." It's a joke. So, you have to block your teammates the moment you start the game. It's ridiculous, but that's the rule.
If you want to start over, I recommend not participating in ranked matches or not starting the game at all.
Finally, there are cheaters in the game. Even Predator players in DC are getting banned for cheating. Figure out the rest.
