I'm Not Sure Why, But Man Do I Dislike Olympus

@Popa2capsMe too, I'll give you an example of something that happened yesterday while playing with a friend.

It was a duo match, we killed a team on Hydroponics, and after looting a while we went to the rift near Estates. While there, we see a lifeline care package land on the houses that are to the left (see image for map location). We went to push there, and we downed one enemy and my friend died. As soon as that happened, another team came, and finished the other team. Before they could actually kill us, another team came, so I had time to rez him and heal. Not long enough, ONE MORE TEAM comes. So we, as we pushed one team, on a non-centered area, we got Fourth-partied. We ended up winning that fight and after that there was only 1 other squad left, and the 2nd circle hadn't even closed yet.

Olympus is a map where you can't get in a fight without getting 3rd (or even more!) partied. I have lost so many matches because so many unnecessary holes on the map that make me fall of the map. Ever going near Hammond is an instant death, and don't make me start on the damn tridents, this thing don't belong to the game!

So that's why I hate Olympus, at least.

I am aware third parties exist on every map, but still, at least I have much worst experience with them on Olympus than on any other map

I think it's because Olympus is 10 minutes of traveling to an area, then 30 seconds of about 10 teams just eradicating each other.

I think aesthetically olympus is by far the most superior map. Some of its POI'S are brilliant too, as stated by @DSR_Filthy_Lemur there can be a lot of travel time between certain POI'S, and some of the POI'S themselves are actual hellholes (*cough*estates*cough*).

The map has potential but there's certainly room for improvement.

@MandatoryIDtag  I feel like Estates is the closest thing we have to being the new Skull Town.  In pubs, at least a third of the lobby land there for instant action.

@DSR_Filthy_Lemur  Thats the problem lol, there isn't even remotely enough loot to accommodate the amount of teams thats drop there. RNG royale at its finest lol. 😛
