@hayhor I am glad to hear you agree with my statement. I also agree with yours about comma as I see good comma as probably one of the must crucial elements of the game neede in order to win. Yes 8-9 times out of 10 the team with better comma will come out on top in a fight or for the win in a match.

It doesn't matter. Let's say sbmm works off of a skill lvl ladder with like 30 lvls. I'm lvl 21, my premade teammates are lvl 8 and 11, we score 40. Just add like two extra points to duo premade teams and 5 points to a premade trio to counter the comm thing or whatever, then we score 45 and should play other 45 teams primarily, with a possibility of also getting teams scoring a little to each side of 45 for quicker mm. You get the idea. The point system could be anything, but an avg team score would work better than just "lobbies follow the highest skilled player on the team", that's no fun for anyone unless you're all of equal skill. Which seems to be Snipe's problem, that his wife and he are not of the same skill.
@Gabrielmojo26"when does Apex say "Ok this guy has been carrying and babysitting for 10 games straight, and he's about to shut Apex off, so lets give him a master, or pred teammate"
About once every 4 seasons. - @pandareno1999 Once again a "pro" whines about something & actually gets a response from a dev 🙄.
@Lord_Scorpion34We've been screaming about this one for years but it only took 1 pro to tweet about it and a response that they'll change it. LOL.
- @Cheese9Man It settled. We have to funnel our complaints through pros to get the changes we want 😂😂😂!
@Lord_Scorpion34Exactly, & as many of us on this forum & others have mentioned exactly the same thing many seasons ago that nothing changes in the game unless either pro players or Youtubers complain about them. And in truth Respawn devs whether past or present don't really care a toss about the average Joe's opinions on the game when it comes to improvements/issues or changes they want in the game when in truth the game probably wouldn't have half the problems with some of them that that have been festering in the game for many seasons now. Those very Devs past & present only paid lip service to the Professional Joe or the Youtuber Joe's concerns & when certain devs responded with promises of 'fixes' or changes' they soon left with absolutely nothing changed at all.Whether these what turned out to be nothing more than empty promises was just a means of merely pacifying unhappy players (mostly pros & youtubers concerned) when these devs either couldn't or had no interest of implementing these changes because they were moving on to pastures new anyway leaving the next dev taking over to carry the can (what I suspect).A game issue/fault with a skin or a heirloom gets fixed within days but a general gaming issue like say match fill, hit reg,MM etc seems to take years to fix.
And hence whilst many of us average Joe players have complained about the progressively worsening unbalance of general MM in the game on various forums for many seasons now it takes a Pro player complaining about unfair MM with his partner then this so-called 'dev' promises MM changes (more empty promises I predict) in the New Year. And lo & behold when pro players complain about season 15 being 'too long' another dev offers promises about 'things being worth the wait' & ' things at end of rainbows' but in reality there is no pot of gold, no leprachauns or unicorns just water vapour not much else.- Kyldenar3 years agoSeasoned Ace

Why it's gone off the highest in a squad and not the average (and frankly, I would do a weighted average where lower level/KDR/wins players count even less because of this game's brutal skill curve) all this time just boggles my mind.

Thank you, @Kyldenar, and thank you @Cheese9Man for addressing this. I didn't want to be the one to start, but I'm glad to take it up now. Rant inbound.
It isn't just outrageous that there's only a problem when a streamer says there's a problem. It's outrageous that a professional brings his wife to work and the entire workplace gets upended so neither of them gets their feelings hurt. I said, GD.
This has been a feature of every shooter I've ever played. If you're a scrub queueing with a god then prepare to have your a** handed to you. Dumbing down the lobby so a master's level twitch bomb can just roll over everyone else (without even needing the help of his scrub teammates) is not the answer. I know they said that's not what they're going to do, but that's developer-speak for "that's what we're going to do." What other way is there to do it?
If people of disparate skill levels, married or otherwise, need to play a game together, then for F's sake, play Animal Crossing and quit screwing up my game even worse than it already is.
Rant over. - @reconzero This is my other concern as well. Masters and above could use this to exploit lobbies.

Okay, rant not completely over.
I'll tell who I'm starting to feel kinda bad for in all this: the wife. That poor woman probably did nothing more than make an innocent comment to her husband along the lines of, "Wow, this game is incredibly hard." And then, because he goes off to Respawn with a gripe, and because they start tweeting about it, suddenly people like me think the wife is gaming's biggest Karen. And she is, though through no real fault of her own other than observing that the concept of fairness depends entirely on who's ox is being gored.
That, and I still can't believe that they think this is the only problem with matchmaking when it isn't even the biggest.
