Is 3 strikes the best mode ever released for this game?
It's tdm meets BR. You can fight the entire game and still have a crazy end game. Easily the most fun I've had on Apex in awhile.

- @Asmodeus566 It isn't that there are 3 stacks to play against, it is that MM puts solo queue players up against higher level 3 stacks all the time. That happens in all modes now that ranked MM is MMR based.
So 3 Strikes is pubs Trios times 3 in that case. You don't just get insta-melted once, you get insta-melted 3 times and take all 3 kills against your KDR. That's why people leave after the first time they are knocked instantaneously by the first 3 stack they run up against. - @Airish85 Penalty is useless. It will only end up pissing players off more, leading to fewer players left in game.
There is little reason for staying in a lot of the games since you just sit on your hands. Most of the time when people do leave the game is in favor of your team losing too so it would likely make for a statistically sound option to leave and start again if you want to play more.
I get the frustration, but leavin penalties almost always end up with exceptions to the rule and situations where you find yourself recieving a penalty you do not deserve.
I.e. 1 guy dc's, the other is afk. Next game 1 is the most obnoxious person on earth, and 2 is ratting.
There is no point in penalties to encurage players to stay in a bad spot. Give them something to do, something that makes it wortwhile, that is active.
I get 3 strikes has respawns built in, but if your view of the game is "great I died in 20s and my team is about the same feel as leaky diapers" why would you stay? @WTF_HuitzoWhy would you quit a respawn mode?
I guess if there's a blatant cheater maybe.

I'm having a blast and have yet to win a game in 7 hours of play time.
I would say premade yes. Solo absolutely not.10 games in, 4 games no teammates. The other 6 random level teammates. Last game and why I am writing this. 2000 damage 8 knocks no kills and neither of my teammates did more than 400 damage with 3 knocks between them and no kills. 1 of the games I had kills in my teammates looted all of the heals and left me with nothing so every time I went down I would get back up with health and no shields. After the fourth knockdown I left.
any mode that is giving your mates a chance to grief you over and over again is a crap mode.
Like I said if you are playing pre made I think this would be a great mode to play.
I disagree on solo mode opinions for casual play.
3stacj I’d always going to be an advantage and there should be a solo mode, it is ridiculous that it’s fake doesn’t have one.
But I’ve even played ranked solo, and 3 strikes, while annoying sometimes, is fine for solo casual play considering Respawn can’t be bothered about a solo mode. Caring less about team mates who don’t play smart just means often they quit or you can carry them, either way is fine with me. And I can always quit myself if I don’t want to play.
solo mode problems are much bigger in ranked play, but ranked is a fair disaster right now with so many more problems. I’ve hung out in 3 strike because as a solo player it’s saving the game for me like Control and TDM.
- @mastiffslinger I've played both ways and enjoy it both ways. Solo queuing has the exact same issues no matter the mode.
Actually I've had a lot more random teammates that stick together as they've realized how strong the quick rez is. IMO Worst LTM so far. You can basically triple your KD hit by soloQ this mode with the current MMR. Best was the shadow royale. That was fun even in solos.
@hayhorit is super fun actually, but what I like the most is that this mode proved how some people are not suitable for this game at all.
even when having 3 chances, having a load out and shield on drop and insta revive some players are unable to stand a chance.
a wraith will always be a wraith for example.
I had a lifeline who failed to res multiple times even when it's actually so easy and it's a game changer.
others are just dropping edges and loot for 5 minutes then get melted in a second.the match with that lifeline almost made me break something which is a very very rare occurrence, I understand how sometimes it's difficult to play as lifeline sometimes rezing,fighting,healing, and covering your teammates all at once, but not in this mode.

- @maximas1986 Oh yeah there are frustrations for sure. One thing it's proved tho is that most issues with the game are players faults and not the games. I won't even turn on if pubs is SP and BM but in this mode I'll play those maps.
