Is it fair to have 300 Heirloom SHARDS but u can't buy anything with it ?!!

Dear reader.. I have been playing this game since day 1 and it's been wonderful time playing Apex legends but lately I have been feeling bad about buying coins because I have 300 Heirloom SHARDS but...

    @NAGAAATO  In the nicest way possible, this is definitely a you problem.

    Loot pack rng is designed to make people buy more packs and you've already said you have everything...so unless you're trying hoarding craft mats....which I'm sure you already have an ample supply then there's literally no point 

    If you want to continue supporting the game with purchases that's cool, carry on....however why not just stick to the events rather than buying standard packs?

@dSKyNafinchin That is not true. You definately still can get shards after owning all heirlooms.

@hayhorDid they change that? Apex wiki states that

"If a player opens 499 packs without getting any shards, Heirloom Shards 150 is guaranteed on the 500th pack. However, more shards cannot be acquired if all Heirloom Sets are already owned."

I definitely have no way to verify, as I have yet to get my first set, so I definitely haven't unlocked them all, Lmao

@NAGAAATO  Like others, I am confused as to what is going on. You mentioned that you are not happy with the pack contents that you purchased. You also mentioned that you already own all items in the game. What do you mean by this? Do you mean that you own all heirloom sets? Or that you own ALL cosmetic items (legend/weapon skins, banners frames and whatnot for ALL legends)? If you literally own all the items for all legends, why would you still buy packs? What would you be expecting to get, when you have everything? 

If you mean that you only have all the heirloom sets, and not all items for all legends, then there is still no issue from Respawn. Apex packs are a gamble, and you have no guarantee of what you receive from them, other than the % chances of each item tier.

    I do not buy packs my friend 

    I buy it from events like buy this skin and u will get 20packs, u know what I mean ? 
    I know it's gamble but Whyyyy I get 30 crafting medals instead getting 100 or 600 crafting medals, maybe they should  remove 30 crafting medals or edit 30 to whatever they see a good reason, plus i have all legend/weapon skins, banners frames for all legends, but still love to get more crafting medals for the next events, so instead buying coins for events i can use my crafting medals to buy skins in the events ...

    @dSKyNafinchin I've seen too many I have all the heirlooms and just got shards posts and videos.
