Season 16. I would suggest playing arenas this season before the next season drops.

If they fixed it I'd play more. As it is, there's no interest in the amount of frustration from any of their game modes.If they got rid of arenas, they'd probably loose even more of their player base. Arenas still has it issues with leavers and cheaters and smurfs, but IMO it has more potential as an actual team based game mode than br and any of these other trash modes they've been coming out with.
Control was fine, I actually liked control and wish it had stayed, but gun run? Screw that mess.
I doubt that they’ll lose a lot of arenas exclusive players compared to the retention rate of players staying for multiple modes for gun run and control.
I’m sorry but Apex will never perfectly fit for arenas because the core design of the legends are for BR. Even the newest legend, Catalyst, has a passive for doors which Arenas maps doesn’t have a lot of. Same with Ash’s deathbox passive.
@XxColdFangxXYeah I agree that’s my point. If they really want for arenas to stay relevant they should support it more. Even their gun balance changes are just reactionary.
Over the seasons you can see Respawn moving away from arenas. They even removed arena challenges and just called non-BR challenges so that arenas can be in line with the other LTMs.
Me wanting to remove arenas in exchange for LTMs is not because I hate the mode that much. It’s because Respawn keeps talking about splitting the player base.
Speak for yourself, lol. I have tons of fun there, and I only play solo. Run into great teammates, and the matchmaking has been way better than for BR. Instead of a lobby with one team that obviously doesn't belong there that can wipe all of the teams effortlessly, I get pretty even matches, even when going up against a premade on the other side. Maybe there are more people playing arenas than you think? It's kind of ingenuous to believe that out of the 400,000 players on Steam, only 1,000 enjoy arenas, right?

Honestly I'm just about done for good with apex. Even if they keep control if they don't fix the match making or smurfs then I don't see the point in even hanging around for that.
I liked control, but with how limited you are in gun usage it might get dull.
I agree on the gun balance changes being reactionary... they should definitely constantly randomly change buff n nerf guns to force players to try out other guns. Oh yea and also I HATE putting guns in the care package. It's OK to have care package guns buffed up and OP but leave those some guns on the ground aswell normal to pick up unruffled n regular. I don't seem the issue with that 🤷🏽♂️ people have preferences based on their skills n comfort levels with guns and its annoying. I don't mind using guns that have been needed because if I like a gun that's what I want to use buffed or nerfed.
Bro I couldn't have said it better myself u hit the nail on the head! Some people hate BR. The best thing they can do is keep all the game modes to give variety to the game and options for players. I guarantee more people would play Apex as their Main Game they play. And constantly add new stuff to the game modes n making them better n Apex would be a number one played shooter across all platforms. PROBABLY
It arena is just better than BR to me..the whole idea of it and everything about it from the lack of 3rd partying to choosing your own guns n attachments n sights... its actually more than based than BR and matches aren't as long as BR. True test of team AND individual skills
