Hello, I think we are at the point where we have way many useless weapons in the game, which are just disturbing the real loot pool. I believe I'm not the only one who is constantly finiding 10 30-30 repeaters within two buildings... The major issue with vaulting weapons always was that people spent money on those weapon skins, but at the current state of the game, I believe this is kind of an absurd argument, taking into account that you could still use the weapons in Arenas, Control (or other LTM's that appear in the future), or even in the firing range (which is not a mode by itself, but yeah).I just want to put this into thought, and I don't want to only have meta weapons on the floor, but also the issue with having so many weapons makes us not being able to get new weapons either, as seen on this 12th season of Apex. You could do some kind of popular vote to vault 1 to 3 weapons per season/half season, or just let devs decide them, I really don't mind.In addition, having vaulted weapons could really help the loot pool, for example by vaulting a weapon like the Bocek, which is the ONLY weapons with arrows, or maybe vaulting a Light ammo weapons since we currently have a lot of them.Taking this into account... which weapons would you like to see vaulted? @MrCarri-X While there are weapons I'd love to see removed from the game you already said why you cannot do it. How about they just fix loot distribution. Every POI should probably have at least one of everything. And 2 or 3 of the same gun shouldn't spawn right next to themselves.

It's not so much about vaulting weapons, it is about never ending expansions. Pretty soon, you're going to be saying the same things about characters, because there are getting to be too many of them.People want free games that they actually pay more money for each year than a full video game. So in order for them to throw their cash away, a company has to keep expanding a game, even if that never cease expanding a game is bound to break the said game people dumped their cash on. But that's what you get. If you never stop expanding at 1 weapon and 1 character a season, it's only a matter of time before things on those lists start becoming useless compared to the rest of the available list.Maybe vaulting is an option, but I think it's going to be a bad answer no matter what with the pop game design culture that is freemium.

I’m gonna repeat what I’ve said in another thread. On the topic of expansion, we can look at two games with the same model of adding characters overtime. DOTA was released in 2004 (yes it’s 18 years old now) and League of Legends in 2009. These franchises were adding characters overtime throughout the years but are generally balanced.What’s happening is that they just make sure that no legend/character is overpowered. That’s how they balance things. With that, you’re left with some characters that are so useless if you want to play rank and seriously. We’re already seeing that with Lifeline and Mirage but in a smaller scale compared to the two MOBA games I’ve mentioned. While we can say that we see a variety of legends in the ALGS, most of the time you’ll have the meta Gibby, Wraith, BH, and Valk. Overall, it’s alright for me to keep adding legends to be honest.On your question about guns, this is where I want them to stop. Respawn’s “strategy” with adding guns to add gun types to each ammo type. Like “Hey we still don’t have a ____ for the *insert ammo type* guns yet, we’ll add that!” That’s why the next guns will be a burst energy gun, pistol energy gun, a LMG light ammo gun, and a cross bow like gun. Guns in this game affects the fights more on who will win in a 1v1 compared legend abilities. Like what Kel has said, in a free to play game, where your boss is EA, you have to no choice but to milk your community dry and look for all the ways to gain money. Stickers will be the next thing. If you want to compare Apex guns with DOTA/LOL, the MOBA games only add items or changes items maybe 1-2 times per year unlike Apex. Thank you for coming to my ted talk. Lol.

@MrCarri-X I don't think any weapons that have paid for skins can be vaulted out of the br game, unlike fortnite. Could you imagine the class action suit? Best they can do is care package some of them for periods of time. .Perhaps more slots in the cp's would do it.Free the spitfire 😃

For me the game should be putting more weapons back into the general loot pool not just taking them out or taking 2 or 3 weapons out only to replace with them with 1 vaulted it's just another means of restricting & limiting weapon variety.I certainly agree that general loot/weapon layout in the game has always been pretty bad & as the seasons roll over nothing seems to change or improve.I've encountered so many games where I could open 4.5.6+ chests in a row without a single weapon in sight just copious amounts of shotgun bolts, sniper stocks or white body shields.Or scour multiple levels of various building & count myself lucky to find a P2020 or Mozambique & there are times like I encountered yesterday upon opening a single loot chest only to discover 3 Peacekeepers staring back at me.As for the scenario about encountering 10 or so 30-30's between 2 buildings (where I've encountered many similar scenarios) I also put that down to not just bad loot layout but also limiting the number of weapons available as I mentioned.
