KD Dropping since season 16, any advice to increase kd aside from using cronos?

@espadakillar69I've also found it can fluctuate dramatically in a season. Most of the season has been fine then I'll hit a patch where I am suddenly garbage overnight for a few weeks (I put this down to match making as the fights suddenly seem *way* harder and 1 sided - you can usually confirm this looking at the banner of the guy who got you) then it goes back to "normal".
In my case, I have better KD without playing E-District at all. This is a terrible map created only for characters with movements such as Horizon, Revenant, Pathinder etc.
The lack of items and lack of healing make this map very frustrating to play.
Even though there are going to be changes to this map, I already know that I will never play on it. The worst map that appeared in Apex.

It's actually pretty hard to rack up kills with sniping. It's good for damage farming and if you snipe an ongoing fight you might get a lucky kill in the chaos but due to sniping distances if you down someone there is a really good chance they will be up again shortly.
Yeah I'm running into a bad streak now. For the last week or two my stats have just been tanking. Played 2-3 hours with my usual pals today we won *ONE* fight all day. ONE. Just getting destroyed over and over. Avg damage down 50, KD down about 10%. I'm done until next season. There is just no point at the moment. We exist as a KD pill for others only, we got nothing out of every game.
End of season fewer people playing (just the sweats)? I am suddenly garbage overnight (all of us)? What?
This is a recurring theme every season. Towards the end of a season I think the number of casuals like me plummets so I'm just left with the good players to get matched. Basically if you are a casual towards the end of a season you might as well not bother, there just isn't enough of you. Be good to see official numbers on this.
