King's Canyon After Dark Discussion Thread

Kings Canyon is fantastic! Now just get rid of the crap night time mode and bring this map into a permanent rotation. 

This map is so much better than the new one it is not funny. So much more fun . Feels like a new game. Reducing the size of the new map by 20% would make it so much more enjoyable

@DaWiz2015I am definitely not playing Crypto wrong. I play Crypto the way I like to play Crypto and it works for me. I am rank 3rd in the world across all platforms for passive enemy drone scans (using a 3rd party site), and I have more wins in this season than I do in season 1 and 2 combined so I think I know what works best for me.
I also like to take the lead, get my drone into position and by the time my team mates catch up I am ready to go with them, however if the enemy team aren’t fighting they shoot the drone, that’s why sometimes I have to hide (no good standing out in the open) a little bit longer for my team mates to engage.
Sometimes I will circle an enemy team while they try to shoot my drone. This attracts other enemy teams who think this team is fighting. When they start fighting, my team will third party. I also couldn’t do that without hiding. 
Even if I am in my drone for only 5 seconds, I still need some cover. On WE I will literally get on my drone behind a rock, doing that on KC just doesn’t feel safe. 

@EA_DavidI've been having issues as wattson and being able to deploy her ult. It would not let me throw it down in a building... While the dark idea is good, it does not work with all the dark skins they have for the game. It's a bit of a bummer, I have legendary skins I can't use because they stand out like a sore thumb. Enemies are impossible to see, the numerous digital threats help, but that sort of brings it down to a close combat game. Bloodhound is definitely a shining legend in this mode when she has her ult/scan. 

those who have the digital threat sniping scope fair better and have a huge advantage. The moon is a bit bright, my eyes are watering fairly badly because of the brightness.  From there I'm having serious lag issues right now.. It could just be the rush of players playing the new mode. But it's a consistent problem I have with events. I just had a player kill me in essentially 2 shots but the death recap showed at least 9. It's not my end my ping is consistently 46 in Apex and 42 or better in BFV.

overall I'm having fun with the event though.

ha ha...!! old DAYS...!!! havent played it yet...going now to play...hoping for some good fun ...:D

same old map..meh. Not a huge fan of night game play, but enjoying the optics..Nice change..But, after a few wins, you remember how you were once bored with it.

Was able to play for hours with two friends yesterday. We all had Diamond dive trails. And one of us is currently Diamond 1 and might get predator this season.

We absolutely dumpstered the lobbies we were in, kept winning 8 out of 10 games. I suspect a fair share of players didn't know every detail of KC so may have felt a bit lost, especially in places like swamps and slums. I'd say that digital threats were a bit too common, so much so that out Bangalore teammate went and played Wraith instead and I opted to play Caustic a lot. And we did pretty well with Wraith Path Caustic.

Definitely gassed a couple of stragglers in bunker. Was pretty funny lmao.
