@DarthValtrex The distance thing makes sense if you only drop places that get within that range. If not you have to look at the flight and figure out how close you are going to get to where you want to go.
Anyone who drops on the supply ship is insane.
Pit isn't a bad place to drop and then move towards fighting. There is usually a couple good items like a purple shield in the center. There is enough loot close together you can do it fast and then go kill someone.
Market is horrible now. It is all spread out and the loot is so very limited.
No name locations depend on the location. For example I love to drop to the building outside octanes, then kill the people that are at octanes or airbase. Will they have better loot? Yeah probably but if you take them out theyve now got all the loot in one place.

@hayhor Pit is horrible every time I have dropped there it's been 2 armor typically white and maybe 2 decent guns, hardly any consumables and next to no ammo. Almost every time I have been there we end up dead. Probably one of the worst name drops on the map. Market is a close second but mildly better because you have the buildings outside too loot.
