I'm really disappointed with her tbh...
From what I was hoping and expecting for from her, I've been really let down.
For me it was mostly about the tactical - I was hoping it would be really good attacking/defensive tool and also really good for mobility.
I've found it really quite disappointing in that regard.
I find the loot aspect merely a small "perc" to using her. That's not quite enough for me.
- @1ronKeys I had the same with Rev in the beginning. I only wanted to main him... seriously, not joking, for his passives XD. His ult sucked in my book and the tact was just a good bonus.
I mained him... did well with him... they buffed him, did even better with him, but I still hardly ever use his ult & tact is only when I see path, wraith or caustic. I should train myself for gib as well seeing his gun shield doesnt work now.
But with her, I only do it for teleport. Her ult sucks in my book & her passive is a bonus :P
I’ve yet to find a character who I like for all the abilities. Even my bloodhound has a -1 since I hardly used (I mained him up until Rev came out so before his 3x bigger tact) his tact. It’s now alot better, but it’s an even bigger ‘HEY POINT YOUR GUNS THIS WAY’ sign :P
So no maining loba? Good, one less person hogging her when it’s time to pick...I personally like all her skills. Tactical is great, two squads are fighting a mile away next to a building? One teleport and im shooting them from its roof. Ult is nice too, you can see good loot from a distance, but you need to go through open terain to get it? Ult is there for you. You just downed a squad but cant get to their chests cos they're guarded by a sniper squad? Dont worry, ult will help you get that evo/gold armor from death boxes.
@tommor1988True true. But I’m the typ of person to run up to a box and squat there like I’m some burglar while going through other ppl’s stuff instead of the interdimensional hand grabbing stuff :P I only actually used my ult for others.
@DK9027downed teammates? What are those? Never heard of such.. wait a second? I think I’ve heard something about that. Those are the ppl that go down but not D/C right away right? :P XD in most of my games (even the win I got) with her, it’s the same story. Either teammate pushes where he shouldn’t push or gets preyed upon by not listening and instantly D/Cs XD. In my win with her, the guy started pushing a single dude, gets knocked, I down that dude but need to Cirque de Solei my way up buildings and perform spectacular feats in that new area where Thunderdome was and that guy leaves... HE WAS THE CHAMPION TO MAKE IT WORSE XD... I kill the other 2 and we end up winning woth me 11 kills 1700 dmg, teammate two 500 dmg, leaver 22 dmg XD.
But anyway, yea for downed teammates it’s a good shop. Except for the tiny fact that nearby enemies see the burst of energy so they usually run towards it... dang vultures.
@pastaclown, yea, I noticed this too. Luckily the one time I actually needed it to work it did. I just have to keep working with it until I just know where it is.
@Extremejinks, nice to hear. Yea did that for my team once... not such a good play since they’re vultures XD. I use the ult, if I use it, either as lure for enemies or for my team.
@MassiveVernonout of all the real matches I’ve played (like half of my total played with her cause I either die or D/C due to weird JM) I’ve gotten multiple 2nd places... annoying. Some were lost causes but one I regret losing... I’d stop playing if I had to play Bang xD@GH0STEDbyME she has a specific one for caustic? I only hear her saying ‘handsome’ this and ‘handsome’ that to anyone other than Rev :P
@budzai to finish your sentence “they are wh...atever they wanna be” LOLZ. (I blurted out laughing when I read your comment and needed to witty it out :P). Stars can be whatever they want, just look at the arc(h of the body) :P
- @Koochi-Q I've found that her ult is extremely useful to help teammates who are freshly rezed to get a shield and a gun (I could see at least upping the item count to three to get ammo too)
And when your in a tight spot and hurting for meds, I was in a fight and our octane wasnt able to get any med or heavy ammo so while I set my ult for him we took the fight and he was able to come in and bail us out when we were too hurt.
@1ronKeys I think loba is going to shine in those scenarios where RNG is being unkind to you, i'm sticking to my original opinion that she's pretty niche though.
As for the tactical, i don't know about you...but i feel the range is way too high, and the cooldown too slow. I think 2 charges,and a 15 second cool down per use (30 if you use both charges one after the other) and half the range would have been better personally.
