@Lord_Scorpion34 The ult is a problem on drop especially in hot locations. It's not that it's over powering. But it puts enemy teams in the position of having 0 ammo and being complete sitting ducks. It's not really good for the game, it's not fun being in the position of having no way to fight back.
Did I call that rework or what?! haha I'm happy it's coming.
@BigBlackCaustic I think it's a bit early for the Caustic panic. His last nerf had 0 impact on him as a legend. He's still a very good legend. I don't play him much anymore because well, I've become one of those overly aggressive push everything people... I hear shooting and I'm running towards it like it's ice cream truck going through the neighborhood.
- @DarthValtrex To take that much ammo you would need a purple pack on drop & every member of the team would need to have one. I've never personally seen all the ammo taken like that. I feel her Ult is in a good place time wise cuz youcan supply your team in a pinch. It actually works better than LLs care package if you're in a decent area & there's enough supplies for everyone vs 1 member running to the cp & potentially looting everything. But if they nerf it like an extra 5-10 secs I guess thats nbd.
- @DarthValtrex only that this never really happens. Wanna tell me that after 50 seconds no one will have any ammo picked up, camp their * off and just let you use the black market without drawing immediate attention from multiple squad during an hot drop out of all circumstances?
@BigBlackCaustic I have had it happen in very hot drops. i get one maybe 2 guns spend all my ammo killing the people near me. Go to grab ammo from death boxes only to see a Loba swipe what's left of the ammo. Proceed to get killed by the loba team because none of us have ammo to fight back with.
People were doing other things with it. Throw down the loba ult and take all the ammo from a given area and hide it. When you run through and need ammo you can't find any because the loba put it in some obscure place.
I trust the Devs with their decisions. They have access to game stats we don't and they make adjustments to legends based on those stats. Sometimes the adjustments they make need more work. But they are putting good thought and effort into the adjustments, while also trying to provide players with the experiences we want.You know, that's nice. But along the lines of one of my major complaints that they don't make their team dependent ability characters worth playing and people run solo characters in a 3 person game....let me know when they actually buff in a way that matters Wattson, Crypto and Rampart.
Loba is only getting a rework because she's buggy. And if they're doing that instead of fixing how she works now, that's pretty disappointing. She needs her abilities to work and a buff. Not new abilities.
- @DarthValtrex I remember you saying this in another thread but I never see it in my games & still haven't tried it myself as Loba lol. Her Ult can still be better tho.
@Lord_Scorpion34 I have done it before in multiple matches. You just dump the ammo you have and start taking it all. When it's on drop it's not that difficult to swipe all the ammo in a given area.
Some areas it's easier to take all the ammo and hide than other areas. An example of a location I've done it is docks and fight night.
It's really effective when you do it to people who have already been fighting. Just start swiping ammo and batteries from the death boxes. You might not get it all. But if they are running a 99 and you can swipe most of the light ammo, there is a good chance they will be extremely low on light ammo. I carry 300 rounds for my 99, I can easily burn through all of that in a 3-4 squad fight. If I only have 100 rounds or so going into a fight and I can't 1 clip everyone there is a good chance I'll run out of ammo.Maybe they could increase the charge time for her ultimate, but also give her the same thing that Wattson has where an accelerant will instantly fill the bar. I dont have a huge problem with her, but having played a few games with a friend where one or the other of us was using her it was quite surprising to us how quickly and how often her ultimate charges. Feels unbalanced to me, not that she is overall an unbalanced character.
