Loosing rank on Arenas after hitting diamond?

How is it we grind a messed up point system in Arenas to finally hit diamond 4 and when we loose the next match we loose the diamond rank?!? Can yall please for the love of god fix or make your game not a load of crap

    @TacDAD1_YT You hit diamond in BR Ranked your set you cant loose rank just tiers and then Arenas you loose Rank and tiers WHY?!?!?!?!

    @TacDAD1_YT I don't play ranked arenas but I think that arenas ranked are using the old rank system, so no split midseason but at the same time there is no demotion protection

    @maximas1986 I believe this to be the case as well.

    @TacDAD1_YT I think you still get the rewards for your highest rank achieved during the season though. Luckily, there is still plenty of time to get back into Diamond and get even higher up the rankings, but if you don't, from my understanding, you will still get Diamond rewards at the end of the season. There is no demotion protection like in BR ranked though, and no mid season split, as mentioned above.
