Lost content I've had since day one of apex

I've been playing apex since day one and since that time until now been playing almost on a daily a little on and off sometimes but always collecting every piece of content I can from seasons to events, recently I lost access to my original email so I wanted to update my account, so I switched to one I use on a daily basis, little did I know that by doing that I would lose all my skins wallpapers and all the content gained through these 4 years of apex, it is infuriating that I did not even receive a warning of what would happen and I have no idea why respawn or ea don't have an option to transfer content to another account it makes no sense I talked to support they just told me it is not possible even though the only thing that remained untouched were the charms LOL  the skins had to go but the charms and everything else but god forbid the charms go it's just stupid and honestly it made me give up on the game a little bit, lots of time and money invested in this game for this to happen with no warning whatsoever they just gave me some apex packs for "compensation" which by no means makes up for everything I lost, has anyone experienced something similar? Someone at respawn a representative or anything please answer and solve this it's unacceptable

    Hello @LODOxONI,

I understand that is is of course a very frustrating situation. What platform are you playing on? Could you tell me a little more about what you changed? Did you simply change the E-Mail on your EA Account in the settings? If you're playing on a platform such as a PlayStation, was your new E-Mail already connected to a PS-Account? There is a chance that you somehow unlinked your account and therefore relinked it with a new one with that E-Mail change, which would explain the issues you are currently experiencing, as you can read here:

"If you unlink a platform account that you use to play Apex Legends, you may have issues with Battle Pass leveling, item unlocks, and other errors.

Instead of unlinking and relinking a platform account you play Apex on, it may be better to start fresh on a new account."

Could you see if you changing your E-Mail means you opened a new platform account, and if, when you switched to a this new E-Mail, you potentially linked up different accounts?

Yes I changed it in the EA settings since I no longer have access to that email, I'm on ps4 and the email is the same for that platform there was no warning for what would happen if I changed it and the charms remain there it makes no sense to be honest

    Hello @LODOxONI,

when approximately did you change your E-Mail and therefore lost your progress? Is there a chance to reactivate your last E-Mail? Generally speaking, changing an E-Mail should not cause an account to lose content, which is why I believe that the change of the E-Mail somehow changed a part of your account connection between the PS4 and the EA account. Did you change the E-Mail on the PS4 account first or did you change it on your EA account first?

I changed it on the ps4 way before apex even was a thing my EA email was the same I'm not one to use my EA account that often so I never bothered to change it until last year and I've been trying to contact people at respawn to no avail, they just told me it was not possible to transfer content from one account to another even though the CHARMS are still there how is it no possible if one bit of content remained? It makes no sense I lost years of grinding and money and no apex packs can compensate that

So Support told you that your account switched? From what you've said and what happened, I imagine that this is the case.

As Support had said, and is written in the article regarding relinking accounts, switching accounts will lose you your progress. I understand that you don't know how that could have happened simply by changing an E-Mail (I'm unsure how that could have caused it either), but if it is really a case of accidentally changing your account, you could contact Support regarding an account recovery. If you indeed accidentally created another account, the other account should still be there, and after they verify that it is indeed you, they can help you gain access back to it. You would then have to connect that account with your PS4 account and therefore regain access to your Apex content.
