I think it would be way more interesting, I won't charge for this idea.

@Cheese9Man Abilities barely played a role when I played arenas. It is because of this I plan to main a smaller character in arenas. Caustic just wont work in it.

@Kaparroides I agree the maps are too big for 3v3. Im guessing they’re afraid of balancing issues with the tacticals.

@Cheese9Man I'm not even sure that's the real issue....I mean they've stuck pretty stubbornly to the 3v3 format, look at how long it took to get duo's as a permanent mode.Abilities do play an important role in apex but so does mechanical skill, I'd argue more so the latter in arena due to the general pace of the mode. The way abilities availability works in arena also bolsters this opinion for me.

Uh, yes, I would like 4v4 more than 3v3. On the other hand, changing the player count by 1 in either direction to me isn't really that much of a difference. You'd be speaking my language if it was like 6v6 or more.

Make Arenas 4 vs 4 and you'll get people's attention

@BaldWraithSimp Yeah it seems like nobody invests materials into abilities really, so the better legends for arena is generally those with better tactical.

anything between 4v4 and 6v6 I'm ok with it, I feel 3 vs 3 is boring, it's the same experience you get in BR but wining feels like, meh whatever, not * of games, just change the experience.

Yeah, when people were talking about what Arenas could be before, there was an idea That it would be a TDM style game mode. You know, like the overwatch arcade mode. First to so many kills wins and all that.

To be honest, that's what I was hoping for. But then we got this 3v3 elimination thing and I'm just not feeling it. I'm just hoping that since we now have these new maps, that they can be used for different modes.

Agreed. I started with Crypto for Arenas to experience the mode while still tackling weekly challenges, but I ended up really appreciating his tactical in the mode. Drone over to the opponent's area and set up above the battle area and the little guy gives the team real time movement. Good stuff!
