its proven that making people lose and give them a win every now and then makes them chase that rush they get from that win.
conclusion is and it works,,, make them lose to keep them playing.
AKA not SBMM But EOMM (Engagement Optimized matchmaking Framework.) although EA claims not to use this they dont alow anyone a peek under the hood of the SBMM (EOMM) Code.
EA uses EOMM for some sports games....they have come out and stated it. Why would they use it for some games to boost revenue but not with this insane money making machine we call Apex?
MM is rigged. You are either held back, or you are aided. Rarely are you playing at your own earned skill level.
Hence why the average person whether they want to admit it or not - gets owned for many straight games, then a god game where they play beyond their own skill level - then back to being owned. rinse and repeat.
But heh, EA says no - so......
It's really bad, that's all I can say. Multiple Diamond trails in every Gold Ranked drop, and I hear it is a disaster up from there. Plus Pubs debacle.
Honestly, I just don't know if Respawn really cares to do anything about it in any time frame that matters. They screwed it all up good, and it's pretty widely known not just among the regular players whom they ignore, but the pros and streamers they only pay attention to.
