Max points in ranked should be higher
As it stands now the game rewards more placement than kills, so maybe a guy that has 3 kills but dies out of the top 10 loses points while a rat that camps the entire game without doing anything can ...

What level are you at? This works in early game but not late. Your still going to need kills.
Points should be geared towards kills/assist more than placement.
We're playing a BR yes, but it's also a FPS. You can't be the last team standing unless other teams are dying...and if you're taking the risk to kill said teams you should be properly rewarded for this endeavour.
I personally think placement points shouldn't kick in until 5 teams remain and the cap on kills/assist should be removed with point adjustments on both to make this system viable.
This would eliminate rank scrubbing at the lower tiers entirely, and allow players to reach the ranks they're supposed to be at much quicker.
- @MandatoryIDtag I'm going to be curious if the armor changes impact ranked at all. if you had to level up your armor through fighting I can almost guarantee it would weed the campers out of ranked. They would get destroyed late game if they were running around with white armor.
@DarthValtrex They'll likely just switch to charge rifle damage farming lol. You can get a red evo almost instantly with a charge rifle and good positioning. 😛
@MandatoryIDtagMost people are amazingly bad with the charge rifle, they have a hard time tracking targets. They would flock to replicators though. I'd probably camp the replicators and pick people off. hahaha
- @DarthValtrex Biggest myth in this game right now is that you have to fight to upgrade armor. If you find white armor in a crafting spot it is instantly blue. If you find blue you can pretty much make it purple by crafting it twice and then popping one person with one sniper bullet.
I will not engage a team close up with white armor unless I'm with them right away. It is utterly stupid to do so.
