Apex - the Wallhack legends!

Saw some early leaked gameplay videos and here are some observations. My observations aren’t 100% accurate so yeah.

• Maggie - the run speed with the shotgun on hand seems to be as fast as running without a gun. Not as fast as an Octane stim or Bang’s passive. Didn’t see the scan ability since the video was in the Firing Range but I think the scan is clear in the trailer.
• Maggie - the tactical is kinda busted ngl. Its damage output is comparable to a thermite not Fuse’s KC. Did 160 damage to a dummy in firing range if you just stood there and tanked the tactical.
• Maggie - ultimate does 20 dmg and a knock back. The speed boost is the highlight here. Your whole team basically gets an Octane stim speed boost. In the video, the ultimate lasted around for maybe 20 seconds. If you get out of the AOE of the ult, the speed boost is obviously gone. Can’t tell how big is the AOE. 

We might be seeing Seer 2.0 when it comes to being OP on launch day.

• Crypto - you can send the drone to go forward for only 50-75m in front of you. You will get hit by the EMP since the drone can only go so far. This buff won’t increase crypto’s pick rate in the long run that much but this Crypto buff is another indirect nerf to Caustic and Wattson. I suggest not picking Wattson or Caustic for the mean time because of the gas nerf, Maggie, and this Crypto buff.

• As expected RE 45 with the hammerpoint rounds is extremely busted!
• PUNCH BOOSTING REMOVED

Nothing was learned from the Seer debacle. That was 10 damage!

love to see something that counters bubble but i just feel like her tactical is a better fuse tactical, time will tell

The “leaker” also said that Respawn might have reworked/nerfed tap strafing but he can’t guarantee that since he sucks at tap strafing. If y’all also didn’t know, ImperialHal “teased” or implied that there will be an aim assist or controller nerf somehow. Monday, everything will be clear. Also, they promised that quitting will now count as a death in pubs so might also see that in the patch notes.

@Cheese9Man So basically we have a op legend: you engage as Maggie an enemy that gets behind cover with maybe 50hp, starts healing, but in the meantime you just throw her tactical and job's done. Yeah, it seems so balanced right?

@Cro_Pittt Keep in mind that the leaker only played in the firing range so I couldn’t really tell if she’s that powerful in a real match but based from what I’ve seen, definitely leaning to OP.

Now that you’ve mention what if someone was healing behind cover, I rewatched the video. From firing the tactical to the actual time the thing starts doing damage is around 1.5-2 seconds. So yeah not enough time to pop a battery. So if you’re 1 shot, it’s better to run than hold the door.

Not sure about this one about the tactical. The thickness of the wall/cover will change how big or small the AOE AOF the tactical. Not really clear in the video but it seems that if it’s thicker, the effect is smaller.

edit: The time the tactical’s first damage to its full 160 damage was 7 seconds based from the timeline in the video.
