@KurisuK36 I used to work retail, and the issue with cards is that usually once the card is payed for, the store cannot do anything about it.
The reason for this is because people like to scam stores. Here's an example:
I buy a $100 gift card. I leave the store, redeemed the card, and then I walk back in and say that the code didn't work, and request a refund. If I get a refund, the store is out a $100 gift card, (which is a loss), and I now have $200.
I'm NOT saying this was your plan, but I am saying that this is the reason why stores like Amazon typically won't do anything about it.
As far as I'm aware of, the managers I had at the time I worked at retail only had one solution, and that was to contact the people who gave the store the card. In this case, that would be EA, so I'm surprised that they can't do anything about it despite seeing the code was redeemed.
