They will kill their own gameI do believe that Respawn is a great team when it comes to stories, lore, and game mechanics they are brilliant, but they have no clue how to maintain multiplayer game and that shows it by only listening to content creators and "pros"Every season there is something what brought negativity but this seasons change regarding to the ranked changes was a huge problem.The second problem is the community, PVP, ImerialHal and the rest of the brady bunch, kept yapping about "we need an AGLS style ranked system" what happened? all of their fans started to repeat the same BS on twitter towards the devs, now that we have it, and the so called "pros" who wanted it, majority of them hate it and it is always like this "we want this, we want that", "aaaahhh now that we got it, it's not really a good idea after all" The third is Respawn, they keep forcing their ideas on players, and this season it shows, you can't force a completely different playstyle on players, because "we think this is healthy for the game" really? I know this has been brought up a lot of times, solos, we never gonna get it, but you guys thought adding a no-fill so we can go against 3 stacks and solo preds and masters in duos is a good ideaI know one thing, I have drastically cut my playtime down now, because, I genuinely lost faith in this game, and I have a feeling that after season 15 this game is done.Don't know how much of an affect is Warzone 2 is going to put on Apex, but there is a chance

What certain pros said at the beginning of Season 13 wasn't necessarily wrong from where they sat, but what was fundamentally wrong was that they thought what was good for them was good for everyone, and it is simply not. They live in a demented world where they make money from video games. Most people do not, and in fact pay money for video games. They need Apex to succeed or some other game...we do not.Ranked mode was never bush league for pros. Never, ever, ever. It was a way for regular people to participate in something more competitive and supposedly serious. In no game, however, was it ever so serious that it wasn't a hobby. In other words, I hate to say it, but Ranked players ARE casual players, just less 'casual' than their pug counterparts. You only change that when what you do starts paying you to do it, like getting accepted on a pro team or earning enough streaming to make your living or significantly supplementing your income.Of course, with Apex, Ranked mode also became the mode with a penalty for quitting. It didn't stop, but perceptively it helped so even more casual player played ranked to try to play Apex more like it was supposed to be.None of that solved any core game problems, or fixed quitting, but this answer with Ranked the way it is now, skewed through the eyes of those who need Apex to have a career, has certainly forgotten that. Two things Respawn and Pros have in common...they need casual players to play and even pay to play, or what they do doesn't matter anymore. And when they forget that, whether because of arrogance, self fed belief systems or whatever other reason, they screw up the thing for everybody. Casuals more than them, sure, but them too if you haven't started noticing they're changing their tune. They should shut up about bad players and start realizing its bad players who pay their damn bills.

@Renegade_Prime86 The game is free to play, if you don’t like a season you can always quit. I’ve been playing this game since it released and I’m still having just as much fun with it, if not more now that I’ve gotten better at it. The point is to have fun, if you aren’t having fun don’t play it. It doesn’t have anything to do with the streamers/pros, apex is respawns game so they’re free to do whatever they want with it and make changes they see fit. Learn to adapt to the changes they make if you still desire to play the game.

When you get 1 good match out of 20 it wears on you. I don't even have to win, I just want my teammates to be close to my skill level (I'm diamond, with 1.92 lifetime k/d) and not leave. I can't deal with the egos and everyone wanting to play like Aceu and try and fail to kill the whole lobby by themselves.

I agree with @lilbabyjoe69 statement, "The game is free to play, if you don’t like a season you can always quit." Game companies can wreck their own games, since it belongs to them. I haven't been here long enough to see any big changes positive or negative. I remember everyone talking about the game that will be the "WoW Killer", I always told people who abused that cliche, Blizzard is the only ones that can kill WoW. Apparently they recently did that by the sale to Microsoft? It might be a good idea to take a break from any game that is getting you upset, irritated, or causing you to feel bad. Some games offer bonuses to players who return after a month or more. This incentive is not to force players away from the game, but to remind them to check back in a month. I am sure the makers of Apex will consider what is best for the majority of the players and not the top 0.1%. Happy players means more revenues and that makes for happy shareholders.

Yep, I totally agree with your statements. EA and/ or Respawn do use streamers, influencers and/ or EA Game Changers for upcoming ideas and/ or feedback so much it's starting to create issues with original design.

Apex Legends wasn't ever designed to be a competitive shooter as core aspects from the original release show that, but Respawn has been slowly trying to turn it into one.

Over time streamers, influencers and/ or EA Game Changers use their community following to spread their narrative and/ or interest without directly understanding that what they're doing is changing the core aspect of Apex Legends.

I myself do not care for competitive Apex Legends, as the title is built upon randomness and/ or too many variations and/ or factors to actually be based around such a claim, "Competitive".

Also, you're totally correct that Respawn likes to force their decisions onto their communities and they directly did this with Arenas.

I think Apex Legends should have distinct modes within the game.

A) Public games should be a collection of fun events and/ or activities.

B) Ranked should be a competitive atmosphere.

At no point should a change to ranked gameplay affect everyone that plays solely in public games. I think Apex Legends started as a movement based first person shooter, but has started to become a camp fest.

@Renegade_Prime86While I agree the game has taken a giant step the wrong way this season I don't think it will die at season 15. There is still time to fix the issues that were created. They could reset the buy ins and the levels to what they were easily.

Also people keep saying ranked is now like algs. No it isn't, it is worse! In algs a team can run edge, kill 8 people, finish seventh and get like 10 or 11 points for the round which is likely top 3 or 4 for the lobby in that game. In the current ranked system that team probably doenst break even. I'd like to make a comparison of ALGS points vs ranked points but the way kills work in ranked is so weird I look at it and immediately stop myself.
The issue is the lack of balance. It used to be fighters could still advance while having fun killing in ranked. That's now gone.

@hayhor Bro, you are in this boat with me since the beginning, honestly, even if they do a reset or soft fix, will it save it? I am telling you as soon an a more interesting game will come out what people can grind, the player count will go down hill, let's face it, a lot of people play this game because there is nothing else and the actual game mechanic and so on are quite good, but people are fed up in general

@Renegade_Prime86 What game though? Every new BR is hyped and quickly dies. Some have even tried to emulate the movement and feel of apex and can't get it right.

Warzone 2 will not be it. The TTK will still be low cod style and people will still rat kills nonstop. Apex got the combination of movement, abilities and TTK right and until someone flat out copies it, Apex will still rule.

Actually the biggest threat is no build fortnite. I know Apex people who stopped with Apex and play that but it's not very many.

@hayhor Halo BR is our only chance for salvation. EA only cators to streamers and pro players. The Devs thirst over who gets to respond quicker on Twitter to Lulu whatever her name is. But never to their loyal players, the ones that are actually giving them money.

I’ve been playing this game since it released and I’m still having just as much fun with it, if not more now that I’ve gotten better at it.
