I think you misunderstood what I'm talking about, so in squad the game it lets only so many people within the squad or the team have snipers so you aren't all disadvantaged at range once you become combat close. So the idea is that once someone in the team has a sniper that there doesn't need to be three snipers in a team there can be one sniper or maybe even two but someone needs to be assault a front man.
My example of the fight I got into yesterday was that there was an impossible amount of odds against me whereas I couldn't even pull my gun out to get into view of three people with snipers because they were waiting for me to pop there was no chance there no matter how good a player I was I was dead the moment I peeked and I was. And they were all about a hundred yards off of me so in this example limiting everyone from having a sniper rifle during a combat as a team would help because after all this isn't sniper elite this is Apex various weapons and everyone having the same damn weapon for the final rounds is stupid when it completely disadvantages the opposing team.
However I was not talking about making Legends snipers only no one wants that but I'm sure they're going to put one in with a primary weapon is that as a super
I do like the feature on Fortnite that allows you to view the entirety of your recent matches (not sure if it's still there, as I haven't played in several seasons), as it lets me go back and see what I could have done differently in any given match. Analyzing gameplay actually helps me a lot!!
- 5 years ago@dSKyNafinchin The line is they could put the limit in. That is thr line and the exact fix. And being close range against 3 shotguns is far less disadvantaged then at range. You won't hit a gopher up close with a shotgun any more then you would a sniper because fast movement at close range is fast movement . So the two examples are synonymous. SQUAD does implement this as a feature, and only a certain amount of weapons of certain types can be used for that squad. Having 3 snipers is kind of stupid in a team game. Although to put this on a fair assessment playfield, there are to many snipers in the game period most matches.

@Ev3rM0r3 To flip this around, if a full squad all decide to run snipers, and they then get hit at close range by squads using smgs repeatedly. Do they then have the right to complain that one person per team should carry an smg?
The simple answer is no.
Why? Because they made their own choices with their respective loadouts and it backfired on them.
Adapt and learn my dude.
- dSKyNafinchin5 years agoHero (Retired)@Ev3rM0r3 I meant where is the line, as in where do they stop limiting guns in squad inventory? If only one person can have a sniper at one time, that would have to apply to every single weapon, and that makes absolutely no sense. Whoops!! You want to pick up this R-301? My apologies, team mate A already has one, so you're SOL. Better limit grenade capacity for inventory too. I got nade spammed and killed once, and I didn't like it, so it needs removed. My point was, where would they draw the line on what to limit per squad, and what is ok to let everyone stack up?
If you're having trouble countering snipers, to me, that indicates that you primarily use close range weapons? While I almost never use snipers, I can easily counter a sniper with a 301, flatline, scout etc., one of which I always have with me. I almost always run an AR for range, and an SMG for the cleanup. You just have to have a little range. When a sniper team attempts to trap my squad, we pepper them with our AR's to crack them, and then rotate when they duck behind cover to heal up. There are numerous ways to counter a sniper team.- 5 years ago@dSKyNafinchin Well after all this was just an idea for discussion.

@Ev3rM0r3This change wouldn't make sense though. They would have to apply it to all weapons. What if you walk through a door into a room, and get blasted by 3 mastiff users sitting in there? Get team shotted by a good squad running 3 wingman? Ever play SWAT BR's on Halo 3? It more comes down to rotation and location. It sounds like that team from your scenario put themselves in excellent position to win that match, and came out on top. Personally, I have encountered a couple matches where I was in a bad spot against a team of snipers in the final ring. It wasn't the game's fault. They played the ring well, and it worked out in their favor. You can't just limit the amount of a weapon type that a squad can carry at the same time though, because where do you draw the line?
