He is most definitely NOT the least played character, now to be fair I tend to be in gold/plat area for rank, (so about low/mid tier) but if i did a spreadsheet of how many teams have caustic as of right now-next patch guarenteed most teams in those tiers will have caustic. I will say thay the pros say hes the worst legend but lets put it this way, most players aren't pros and for the majority hes a pain in the butt, strangely enough when you play with a random player as him on your team.
- Personally the only changes i see as him needing is blindness or slow need to go and the traps be smaller (for a lower chance of being spotted) and destructable from top or bottom. His ulti is a different story, depending on if and which they removed from his rather long line of abilities accociated with his traps, personally i cab only see 1 buff they could add, its pretty slow, right now i actually see it as somewhat balanced, but without slow it should be a larger radius and without blind it should be quite a bit faster to throw
- Finally for those who are defending him for long range battles, while not necessarily intended, you can use your traps as a wonderful little wall to block bullets. Yes alone its not really that great of an ability, but in conjunction to the fact he can easily lock down areas (possibly without anyones knowledge) it makes him a mid tier nightmare.
- Sure ive killed plenty of caustic, and plenty of players as him have killed me, but he does need a rebalance, not necessarily a nerf and not a debuff something that makes it so you can actually play with him (together or against) instead of around him.
Now as a final statement this is more nitpicking but caustic as you can google is an actual gas that causes irritation to the lungs and eyes so by all means pathfinder, revenant, and bloodhound (bloodhound has a respirator) should be immune or at least bloodhound because i can understand cooling issues with robots so damage would make sense but not blindness.

Also Caustic, as the name itself and the World War 1 inspiration imply, likely uses a blister or vesicant agent which works on skin contact and can penetrate clothing, rubber and circumvent masks and is likely to * up electronics as well.- @BigBlackCaustic I saw a tweet from a dev or something that the gas is corrosive, and that even though Bloodhound has a gas mask, it's likely that the gas is too good to be filtered by the average gas mask, and Caustic is the only one that knows how to make a gas mask against it.
