It is actuallt janky it goes through concrete walls tho, this also used to happen with caustic gas traps, which was fixed.
@Wingmannedbro i find it a useful tool to be honest, the things got a pretty specific AoE so its one of the few benefits to using them as far as i'm concerned.
- @MandatoryIDtag I more than agree with you was it not for the fact that I randomly was killed by a thermite grenade that went through a wall... which didn’t even left a mark!
I got shot by a team, went inside a building to heal (I had like 10hp), he threw a thermite while I was standing at a wall (he could not see me, but my teammates were on the other side of the wall), I got burned and was like ‘WTF?!’ the burn effect went through a wall and it left no indication that it would hit me there. I just saw a normal wall and got burned by it...
Other than that, the thing’s fine
Skippidy skip - @Koochi-Q That's nothing compared to how bad termites worked on supply ships in Kings Canyon. I landed right on a termite and was doing the evil laughter as I prepared to burn the poor guy that went down in the ship just to find a Mozambique... only to see the wall of fire move towards me and fry me as I stood in awe.
Still, it's my favourite and I don't want it nerfed. - @DoYaSeeMe I have no visual on how to project this. Did they throw thermite onto the s.... ohhh wait supply ship... I thought of dropship xD.
I don’t want it nerfed except for not going through walls! Opening doors, I have no problem with, but a steadfast wall with no burnmarks... thats silly. Thermites are supposed to burn you through a door. They good for that purpose. Thermites are also the only grenades that ignores knockdown shield health because they will burn you base health and not the shield health while knocked.
@Koochi-Q i'm just trying to work out if you're actually more bothered about the lack of burnt walls than the damage through walls itself. XD
Let me get this straight. You want arguably the weakest most niche grenade in this game to be nerfed because you die to them? Come on man, make a serious nerf request..
- @Koochi-Q That seems like your legends geometry clipping through the wall. A lot of games have this issue. I kill people hiding in building all the time in BFV because they stand/crouch, or lay to close to walls allowing some of their body to clip through and you can knife or shoot them.
Just one of those things I have become aware of after making the mistake and then using it to my advantage at time. Needless to say I no longer stay pushed up against walls in any game I play.
