New Shard System Confusion
"Instead of an entire Heirloom set dropping at once, you’ll now receive Heirloom shards." What exactly does this mean?? Will I now get 3 shards dropped where I would've gotten a Heirloom set drop?...

@Jem450Rso we collect them throughout opening packs?
Yea I was afraid of this, I would rather open up a pack and get all 3 (I assume it's 3 since you get 3 items) shards to pick my Heirloom than collect shards.
@iBlockHead imagine itll create more money.... one shard away from your heirloom... how many packs you gonna open?
@Jimmahwd rates stay the same, you should collect 3 shards(one heirloom) every 500 packs
@Jem450R always with the money ☹️ can't they just be happy I'm here and not on someone elses games.

@iBlockHead No they can’t. They want your monies... they want this:

Of course not, it's published by a public traded and owned company meaning anyone can purchase stakes and influence policy, investors want ever better returns and since EA cannot get more players to play their games, the only way to achieve more profits is to squeeze as much as feasibly possible from the existing player base, while also being as frugal as possible with investment costs for games.
The result is a skin on bones skeleton of a game like Apex that lacks even most basic features while also charging thousands upon thousands for some melee weapon cosmetics.
Welcome to the normalised malpractice of big entertainment... what a mess.

I don't follow you there.
instead of a mess I see a very clear and straight concept: we give you our game, it got all you need (don't see where it is "skin on bones"), it's for free, we hope you enjoy and stay, we will charge you for (and live of) cosmetic stuff you like to have your entrance with, which will NOT influence gameplay.
