New sound engine problem?

Since the new season came out, I haven't been able to play due to unusable sound. I know a lot of you will just state that it's always been broken, but I'm talking about a way worse sound than usual.

Some sounds are now heavily reduced or even removed depending on the angle I'm looking at. This includes the voice lines of my teammates, gunshots, abilities, footsteps... It's never been this bad. The sound capture angle is now extremely narrow and a 1 degree rotation can literally make a sound go from fully noticeable to completely muted.

Has anyone noticed this huge bug? Am I the only one?

Alright guys, I figured it out!

Short answer, the headset (HyperX Cloud Flight) is faulty.

Long answer, the right hear speaker is not able to output some very specific Apex Legends sound frequencies when the volume is lowered by the character rotation.

    How did I conclude that?
When using the same headset to play other games (Tested on Overwatch 2, Fortnite, Hyenas, The final, Battlefield), to watch movies or listen to music, everything sounds perfect.
When using another headset for apex, everything sound perfect, even when watching the faulty clips.

When doing the same 2 tests mentioned above on another computer, I get the same results.

I am no hardware engineer but it seems like the right hear speaker on the headset got damaged from playing too much apex. (Almost 8000 hours)
So to answer the thread title

    "New sound engine problem?"
    NO
    BUT
I was still able to hear missing sounds for bin opening animations, which doesn't matter all that much.
