Just played for a couple of hours and I'm already sick of getting shot by this gun from god knows how far they were, and it hit like a wingman, except, less recoil, same fire-rate, more straight bull...

@bosourd I think that might be bad luck on your part with the loot. I have not had a huge issue finding decent guns unless people drop to the new area used to be slums. Yeah over there the loot seems terrible, that or I just don't know where to go/look.
But I tend to avoid new POI on the map until the "newness" craze has wore off. No point in taking the endless deaths of dropping there. Even if you get good guns you probably won't have heals or enough ammo to deal with the 10 other squads that land there.
The 30-30 I've been toying with.. But yeah it hits as hard or harder than wingman and takes far less skill. You can also slap a 3x or 2-4x on it.
I do think they are going to have to buff the recoil on the gun and possibly make some adjustments to the damage it does. I was trying to compare it to a G7, the G7 has a much faster fire rate.. But I'm not sure if that balances out with the damage differences between the two guns.

- @DarthValtrex Right? I don't think you need that much time to get the hang of it, it's like a mix breed between G7, Wingman, and Sentinel, but easier! xD
yeah about the loot, it's weird because I remember the previous seasons people here complained about how bad KC's loot was but I didn't feel it was that bad, loot was fine for me. Seems like this season is my turn to have bad loots lol@bosourdThose are my thoughts. I don't see much of the Sentinel in it. But I see some type of hybrid between a Wingman and G7 maybe with a touch of the TT in it (the charge up).
I can't decide if it's needs a nerf or if it's in a good place. I was messing with it and a G7 in the firing range. The G7 fire rate is much better.. It seems like the G7 is definitely better for body shots where as the 30/30 is better if you can land headshots. That's especially true if you full charge it for the headshots.
I have not tried to use a wingman in game (yet) against a 30-30 I'm sort of scared to. The Wingman really only shined in that area that was some place between CQC and mid range. Wingman can spam shots faster, but it's much more difficult to control the faster you shoot it. I don't know if the wingman can compete with the 30-30, especially if the enemy is running a 2x on it. I'll probably try running the wingman tomorrow to see how it measures up.
The one benefit is I do play Bangalore and I will put a digital threat on my wingman. So I will likely smoke the enemy if I can.- @DarthValtrex I wont lie 30-30 verse wingman up close 30-30 hipfire just demolishes them. haha
