Not able to find/load into ranked matches?

I've been wanting to play ranked but I can't. Whenever I try to find a match it just says matchmaking not even 1 player in cue even if I was the only one. I thought it might of been a region thing but I tried other servers and they all did the same thing.

Is it because I'm in bronze and there aren't many bronze players on pc or something else?
