Octane is still over the top.

@Lampwrecker2 What's the point of posting a video 8 months old? You do know that Octane has been nerfed in the meantime right?

@Lampwrecker2  Out of interest have you  tried stim spamming as octane in his current state?

The regen certainly isn't quick enough to negate the health lost so there are actually very few scenarios where stim spam would be the correct course of action. 🙂

I'll agree it can be annoying to deal with but I wouldn't consider it unbalanced personally.

Maybe I also have an unpopular opinion but he is not over the top.

What Octane is, and Pathfinder, and Wraith, and Ash and Mirage, are legends that people biase because you don't have to really work with anyone at all to use them, combined with that in any shooting game, getting not hit is the best defense.  Bangalore is all right at it, Loba even better on her own but doesn't have an R1 that really matters as much in combat.

Any character that does not need a team mate to work, even in a team game, is going to get all the attention.

It's another reason why Respawn is off the deep end about abandoning their defensive characters.  And this is aside from all the grief that scan characters cause.  

Octane is fine, but his most important ability? 'I totally ignore what you are doing, team mate, and run off on my own!' It's really his second passive ability.

the health regen as a passive out of combat heal, real good

or when you're like one syringe away from full hp in like 10 seconds you heal that or something like that

but the heal isn't that fast

I wouldn't count on regenerating from low health in combat I'm popping even medkits

also outside the ring, idk how much it heals and how much the rings do damage

but the first 2 rings are the only ones where the passive helps

which is not alot since first 2 rings are quite slow and even without regen you can run quite a long distance before needing to heal

as for 3rd ring and beyond, you basicaly take same damage as other legends, the damage is quite big

you might survive few more ticks of the ring but that's it basicaly

you know Octane's regen is kind of helpful but other legends have some niche to them too

Lifeline heals way faster with the drone allthough on cooldown

not to mention her's and Wraith's hitbox is still quite small

and chunky characters have fortified

so I'm not sure what's so op about octane's regen, the only thing this thing does is it removes unlucky RNG when you are wounded from fight and didn't find any healing items...

Octane does not regenerate any health when taking ring damage, nor any other damage for that matter.

@Cheese9Manthey should just make it shields instead of healing. With no regen
