Okay so all the hate for the flares.. But they can be useful..

So you can use these things to your advantage here is how.. Let's say you're in a fight and you need to revive someone or heal up. If you keep your back up to the flare, you can throw a heat shield down so it's half way into the flare.. That will give you the really fast heals which can come in clutch  during a fight.. It's almost as good as the quick heal gold armor.

You can also use the flares to protect against flanking amongst other things.. Most squads do not want to go near them. For as much as hate as I've given them. They might not be as bad as we have made them out to be.

The wooshing is gone which helped this game mode out a TON. Anyone else been able to use the flares to their squads advantage?

    @DoYaSeeMe The issue isnt trying stuff. The issue is being forced to play it because there is no pubs.

    Playerbase splits are no good, it can make the queues awful for love/hate experimental ltms. There's also more live support needed when more modes are simultaneously available. Gameplay is the almost the same, I really don't see what is forcing me to play in a different manner. A cluster of care packages? A different shape of the ring? I would understand if these LTMs would be like Armed & Dangerous or Dummie's Day, but they're not. Besides, players voted in favor of takeovers in the few polls that I've seen, so...

    @hayhor Well, I did see a difference in a few, even though I'm on one of the busiest data centers, Frankfurt. And it's not just that. Before queue times increase, SBMM gets ineffective, as the pool of players is thinned out and there are higher chances of getting high ping players in the lobby or getting into a more distant match server.

    Personally, I wouldn't mind the LTMs to be separate, but in that case I would want them to be more extreme, to the likes of Winter Express, A&D or Shadowfall. But most of these had issues towards their final days, a lot of leavers, same players in the lobby, teamers, cheaters, etc..
