Online villains

I had an encounter today, where I picked up a trident, to get better ring positioning, pinged get in, and my teammates spewed obscenities at me. They cursed at me and said why are you still in the trident, with some more hateful wording. I honked at them, and chatted ring placement. They ignored me. I had scanned for the next ring, and it was far away. They found enemies, while I sat there in my trident, and waited patiently for them to realize that they were outmatched, and not in the ring. They proceeded to call me a re tart, you can fix the purposeful misspell there I’m sure, and they also called me an unfavorable way of describing gay people, starting with a f, multiple times. The enemies charge, and knock my teammates, while I haven’t even gotten my shields cracked. I zoom away and spit out my crypto drone, and ping that I will get there banners, trying to be the better man. They promptly ditch saying I’m incompetent and stupid. I simply ask the community to not direct swear words or hate speech at your teammates. I hope you never have to experience this type of teammate, but unfortunately it’s all too often.
