"Some of" The inevitable mobility group : Wraith, Octane, Valk, Path - their jobs are moving either self or group around, no way they aren't going here, will be the messiest group cause it will point out that Devs keep spamming mobility on a character.
Additions to support : Rev, eventually Scryer, maybe Horizon, Mirage? - please don't think support = only healing, theres nuance in helping out a team but honestly Respawn seemingly lacks imagination to put them in game "otherwise, we would have more than 2 answers for support in all this time from season 0 to 14". Rev's tactical is basically a de-buff and ult gives the team a one up with a catch, and Mirage makes people look foolish, both things you use in combat, but neither can get a kill with them alone "Rev can if you try really hard". Horizon is similar to Loba in a tactical and ult used in to different scenarios, and I put Scryer because he was leaked at the time as recon, even tho their kit is the closest well get to a anti recon "they have valorant - ish kit, just ignore this for now"
Recon : Mostly the same minus Valk and Path, I can see Ash being here, but the rest of her kit falls under the messy problem cause it honestly can be for 3 separate characters.
Defense: no change
Assault: Minus the above, we have Bang, Fuse, Maggie and ... yeah the new minority in class, I feel like assault should be prioritized for abilities that can damage/ down easier than others, but bang is odd here which brings us to the worst one of all
The Hybrid class: What assault is now, the new dumping bin for characters that outside their range, Bang and Ash ? Here you go. Valk and Caustic, also here, why have any classes at all.
Some class passive ideas : a little bit based the original ideas that never was added in, just something to go off, class item is it's own new slot
Defense - new class item - the shield capacitor, rather than it being on ground loot, all defense characters will have one with a cool down cycle "I know Wattson shield healing is a thing but I remember the old proposal was them - defense as a whole - was getting shields back faster or recharging faster, something like that"
Support - all members have access to blue bin slot, new inventory item - whatever the thing was called that retrieves banners "same idea as above, banner magnet has a cooldown after one use, Blue bin was meant to be all supports but given to LL as a lazy buff"
Assault - Preparation - instead of class item, you have a free inventory slot to put in whatever you choose, all increase in crafting material are doubled
Mobility - Buddy system - if somebody on your team uses your movement ability "think path ult, jump pad etc." both you and that team member will have a speed boost when touching ground for a short time "busted but I can't think of anything else, self speed boost will deactivate if the mobility uses their tactical "
Recon - 6th sense - aside from beacons, if a enemy is revealed on mini map "someone remind me if apex reveals when they shoot" then they stay revealed on mini map for longer
