People that yell at teammates after getting knocked

I would like to hear from different points of view, whether it be casuals/pros/preds whose "fault" it is in this situation if there even can be. If you're playing solo trios with randos and the jumpmaster decides to hot drop 100ft away from his team and gets his * knocked within 20secs of landing, who's fault is it? Because this seems to happen a lot in pubs, the * will start yelling into the mic about how garbage we 'the teammates' are for not having his back and then proceeds to disconnect. I'm tired of feeling like it's my fault every time this happens, if you die and now you're spectating me and I'm 50ft away healing using what little I have to stay alive with like only 15 bullets. Wtf do you expect to happen, a run-in with my fists? Those are just not realistic expectations to have from casuals in pubs. Use your brain and realize I gotta pull back and reset, be patient and I'll come back and get you, there's plenty of times when the last player can clutch and save the team but instead people choose to yell into the mic and leave.

  • It's always the fault of the * who lands in a heavily contested place. People seem to be allergic to winning in this game. They'd rather just "let's all go to the lobby, to get ourselves a treat". But 20 seconds is quite an impressive survival time by one of those people. I wish mine could survive for 20 seconds. 😒

  • Some people are just wholeheartedly oblivious to their own faults.

I've had all sorts of abuse off of players in my time playing. Some of it was justified, in which case I own up and a lot of it however was not.

My personal favourite are the BM spamming loba players. You'll be trying to fight off a squad, meanwhile they're head deep in their ult looting during basically every engagement. Even more so when they have the cheek to call you trash, after they've finished off an incredibly weak squad you've just been fighting.

Bottom line is people need to reflect on their own behaviour before jumping on comms to hurl abuse at others.

  • @HeyNameDoesntFi As a former pred, i can say the problem is always your fault! 😛

There's 3 ways to deal with these situations effectively...

1, Kill them with kindness as some will feel guilt after and might change in the future.

2, Give as good as you get. Not the most mature way but after your exchange you'll feel a sense of calm for getting it out your system.

3, Laugh at them. This and 1 are the best and most effective methods imo.

  • @HeyNameDoesntFiBecause no one wants to admit they made a mistake. I had a guy dropping into a spot call me out because I landed a little bit away. I think as we were landing he goes we gotta stick together. Then after him and the other guy instantly died and the guy kept complaining. I was able to kill the one guy that went with me and then wore down and killed the rest of the team. I then said to the guy it is stupid to drop the same exact spot and compete for loot, then left the game.

  • @HeyNameDoesntFi As the game is "team focused" I'd say the JM or player that's run off Rambo-ing. If the teammates make it clear they don't wanna go somewhere and you go anyway then it's on you.

Like @hayhor said you have to stick together but far enough apart to account for loot per player. It's finding that middle ground that just doesn't seem to happen with most randoms. I prefer landing a bit away from the team (for loot reasons) and then circling straight back to them. Tho these days I'm a lootgoblin so I've gotta go fast.
