@KelRieveron the one hand you are complaining about people skills including teamwork, on the other hand promoting no teamwork yourself.
I personally think that no-fill is just for some challenges not to spoil other people's games or for massive flex to boost your ego - that you can do the same thing alone others do in the team of 3.
In all other cases even playing with 2 bot-like players is still better than no-fill as those people in the worst case will act like cannonball meat or decoys and you have less damage, free shots.
I only separate from the team and even then only be the manageable distance if they are landing really hot e.g. 4+ teams in a small size POI. I also ping and voice my opinion on why I do so before separating, then at least I can say that I did my best and if the team trashes me for not supporting them afterward I just mute and report them for harassment when that is appropriate.
You lead by example and if you separate from the start that shows other people that it is ok to do so as well, they will not only be bad at the game, teamwork but also start to separate...lose/lose case.
Educate and lead by example, that's the best you can do, and those who are not ready to follow you ... well hopefully they will end up on the enemy team more often than yours and you can again lead by example killing them within the game punishing for their mistakes.

@EREGDS You can do that in trios or duos, but in ranked it will cost you from going up to Platinum. So, yes, ideologically what you say makes sense. Maybe also from the point of view of personal self satisfaction. I'm talking strictly about raising your rank, however.
And, by the way, I would argue that you are of more service to your team. Mostly if you solo, you can carry them even if they get boxed out and stick around. To top 4 at least, which is positive points for them if they can just leave their machine on. Possibly, even, they'll learn where to drop out of the experience and what the reward is.
Of course, what I'm saying sometimes doesn't work. You can drop alone, and unbeknownst to you, get tackled by a full team. Still, those are much fewer experiences than placing high and getting kills to match.
You do you. I find it costs too much. When I get to Platinum, often solo is still the way to go, but it's the first rank where people know enough of what they are doing that you can try team work, in my experience.

@KelRieverI am in P4 for 3 days straight, today even played with ex-master - added like 10 people to my Discord blocklist because they really don't know what they are doing.
E.g. I was playing Rev/Oct or Rev/Ash team 3 games in a row... we wasted at least 1 revult each game and I mean people just ran past it even when I com and they are near it, one game we wasted 2! in the same game and 1 ult in the last circle vs the last team...P2 guy just decided he is cool enough to ignore coms and pushed that team not knowing how many people are there, got deleted 1v3, other dude ran past the ult and got deleted as well leaving me 1v2 and half-healed.
That's the community for you here. Honestly my first impression about Apex - people are just impaired in terms of their brain use that involves coms, coordination, teamwork. They purely push through somehow with just pointing and shooting, which is very sad.
Another example of that was a game today where I played with ex-master who just did not com at all, was just randomly running around the map pushing everyone and with P3 dude who did not follow my coms and then argued with me that I am not comming while saying that he heard me but decided to push another team <- mental?! Eventually when I said that I can't speak with a person who says that he wants me to IGL but does not follow IGL and he called me an idiot and what else not when I already muted him.Since that point your theory came to fruition - we won the game without speaking to eachother. Master finished with 1.5k and 4+2, I and the other dude P3 got 700-800 and 3+1 / 3+2 but looking at the situation we can see that this was possible only because the rest of the lobby was just worse! not because we are better when not teaming up. Only thing I noticed which was a possitive - when we had coms and agreed to crossfire/flank teams, it did not work, everyone ended up standing 10m max away from eachother, when we did not com and run our game like solo we natually ran 3 different directions which was very confusing to the enemy - how many teams/people are there - and also lead to good flanks...
This community is just bad...good shooters, bad people and not very smart ones. That's what I see coming in from other FPS games. Sad but honest feedback.
p.s. if you are decent Plat/Diamond level message me, will team up, but keep in my I have high standards and don't hold back feedback 🙂 - 4 years ago@KelRiever am in P4 for 3 days straight, today even played with ex-master - added like 10 people to my Discord blocklist because they really don't know what they are doing.
