Hotdrop -> die -> leave -> repeat. That's how we all play solo casuals. if you don't like that, go play ranked - that mode is literally made to be the opposite of casual.
Or play with full squad. As a bonus, enemies will be full squads too, so the whole experience will be different.
P.S. If you want your 24 damage teammates to stay a bit, show some flashy badges and kill some ppl - they'll stay as long as you're entertaining enough to watch and are moving straight towards their banners (most likely they don't press shift and are constantly staring at your badges). I don't show my badges for that reason, but that's what I've noticed my badges are doing (surprisingly, the 28 elite streak badge seems to be very well regarded).
P.P.S. I find that the same effect works on me too - if I see 4k damage and 20 kill badges, I sometimes stay. Although the biggest factor in my case is my evaluation of how likely it is for me to be respawned within the next 60 seconds.

@Biochemikas likewise, i'll stick around if my squad isn't hugging a rock in the middle of nowhere...staring intently at a medkit for 4 minutes before picking it up and looting the next item at an equally painful pace or just outright abandoning me because they can't make the banner recovery safely.
Either way standard should stay casual i guess, as you stated we do have ranked for tryharding.

Well, casual would still be casual, no pressure to tryhard since your rating isn't on the line.
The only thing that would change is that habitually quitting out of games the instant someone goes down is being met with a mild consequence, but just harsh enough to get people to not constantly quit out of games.
- 7 years ago@Biochemikas I never leave. I hate it when teammates quit early, especially when I end up in the last 2 squads and have to 1v3 or 1v2 or have daily challenges that involve teammates getting healed / phased / ziplined / revived / etc..
The leavers problem needs to be addressed in casual too, but not as harsh as in ranked.- 7 years ago
@DoYaSeeMeNah, casual solo games are best left fast. Die -> leave -> new game. Nice and fast. With teammates leaving, it also gives me plenty of solo games - a big bonus (since they don't want to allow starting solo without teammates, I'll take what I can get 🙂 (hmm, based on my own comment, I should hide my banner to get even more solo games)).
It's really very easy to grab 2 people for a premade, when you want to play 3-man to the end. So there's really no need to interfere with the dynamics of the solo casual.
