So now we know Olympus is afoot, there will be new areas you'll like. Predict by name and even the overview look which will be a favorite spot for you. This thread was made possible by the influence of one of our Champion's @MandatoryIDtag who commented on @asukojo 's thread regarding the new map. @hayhor Thats actually the most sensible response yet lol.Its a new map to explore and conquer! Kinda hard to have a preference yet lol.One thing I am thinking about this map though is that hopefully the ambient audio clutter should be minimal. Olympus looks like its supposed to be a tranquil spot, its got a heavy Japanese garden vibe to it.....so logically any unnecessary loud environmental audio clutter would kind of go against the aesthetics.

The Docks sounds pretty cool. I'm not quite sure what to imagine though. Are they regular "water"-docks or is Olympus in the sky, and these are "sky"-docks-? lol But they seem like a cool place to hangout maybe.I like how these areas seem like they'll all have their own little biome or feeling.

@StarMystro I’m assuming sky docks, either way, docks are always cool hang spots. Water docks however make you look down while sky docks make you look up... being I like my neck down I prefer watery.Hope everything really is as lush as the trailer makes it out to be. This might replace KC as my favo map

I have a feeling with that Rift, there may be an interdimensional jump to some old place, maybe Skull Town. Also, I think sounds, projectiles and abilities triggered inside would not be heard/ shown or have an effect outside of it and vice versa, except for the ring, of course. Sounds a bit too hot for a spot, but that would make this map very unique and awesome.There are many questions in my head regarding Trident vehicles, maybe I should open a "guess" thread about them 🙂

Rift sounds like it could be interesting. I have a feeling its the weir energy sphere we see in the horizon trailer when she returns back to olympus.
Edit: in fact yeh, you can see it at the North West of the 3d image.

@Koochi-Q Not even got a top 3 in current maps, pretty much just go where the jump master goes and get the same crappy loot everywhere.

Skulltown was a favourite just for the carnage but obviously that’s been taken out.

@CAGOA34 Wait what?! How can you not have top spots?! You dont necessarily have to go there but just like it for whatever reason!

In KC for me it’s Water treatment, Containment and Labs (even tho I hardly ever go there). WE, only had one place and that was Mirage Voyage... Thermal Station isn’t so bad either...

@Koochi-Q I don’t care for the locations on a map only overall feel of it, can tell kings canyon has had loads of eye candy added since playing in season 2 but still feels the same to me.

I have no idea. The place Mirage dropped into looked cool I guess. We'll see when the map drops.
