Question - Ranked Placement Matches

So I completed my 10 placement matches and did not finish below top 5 in any of them. I have about a 2.4kd so far and after the 10th game I was placed into Bronze 2. Previous ranked last szn was diamond 4 in split 2 since I didn’t place split 1 https://19216801.onl/ https://routerlogin.uno/ .

One thing to note is that my “rank” during the placement games stayed at Rookie IV the whole time. My friend’s rank has been changing as he progresses through the placement games.

Is anyone else’s rank going up during placement games? Or is it supposed to be rookie until you finish your placement games?
