@r1ggedgame I’m in full agreement regarding transparency.
A ranked system with tight matchmaking would be great for everyone. But like you said, hidden systems will typically always result in people feeling cheated/manipulated.
Every community has bad apples (people who will cheat or exploit), but there are far more good people who just want to see where they are within the system.

@Axs5626Sxa5001 Respawn has said previously that they will not share details of exactly how their MMR system works because then people would exploit it. They seem very sensitive to people exploiting the MM system.
- @HappyHourSumwur Says the new system is exploitable for sure. It’ll take half a season for someone to find it and another couple of seasons before everyone is doing it. Rinse and repeat.
