@Asmodeus566Ive said for a long time ranked demotion should have a floor. A pred should never ever go below plat. A diamond should never go below the bottom of gold.
I'm not sure if you caught it in the MM blog but the way I understood it the whole idea of similar ranked MM is going out the window when the change is made. It's going to be current MMR like arenas. There will be bronzes with preds. If you have an issue now......get ready.
