Well according to Respawn, it's an issue with latency lol. Yeah, and the fact that the servers operate at 20hz on a game engine that's 15 years old that doesn't register enemy footsteps only teammates (weird design choice) to ultimately confuse the player as to what the hell they are hearing. It's not a daily issue thing with the servers guys, it's the entire system that runs this game. It's old, outdated and clearly cannot function without going into cardiac arrest. And there is nothing on the horizon about them updating the game engine, servers, audio mixing etc., to ultimately fix these ongoing issues that are clearly a result of outdated tech that wasn't built to handle this type of game. That's why Epic can port Fortnite to Unreal Engine 5 in a DAY, and it takes Respawn literal months to try and fix the Rampage, a single gun, that's apparently is still broken. I'm not sure where all this money is going that they generate for this game, but it's clearly not being reinvested back into it, and that is the main issue. All these other issues stem from these broken core mechanics. So unless you hear Respawn say, they're moving Apex to a new game engine with updated servers and a competent managerial team, don't expect these issues to ultimately ever get resolved. You will literally be acting insane if you do. Crypto heirloom launches next week, don't' forget to buy it lol.
