Re: 30-30 and burst meta

I understand that, still does not take away that this meta is the sweatiest its ever been. The hemlock and nemesis are still unreal at hipfire. They are hands down the best when it comes to long range fights and close range. At least when it was the r301 you still had to track really well, with these burst guns its a hell of a lot easier for anyone to hit more shots consistently, just tired of every player I come up against hitting almost every shot and dying in 4 bursts. A lot less annoying to die to an r3 or flatline, hell any other gun. Just miss the days when shield actually felt like shield and 90% of it wouldnt be taken away in 1 and a half bursts. They are the most unrewarding guns to use because you know that it doesnt take much skill cause you barely had to track. That was the magic of this game for me. But I guess the devs have their hands tied.

@Turtle15856 I disagree with the skill take, the spray weapons on longer ranges does require you to aim well. But up close the burst weapons means that if you missed one burst there are a lot of shots wasted.
I tend to use single fire on the Hemlok for any medium to long range engagements and only occationally use the burst.

I think matchmaking also has a lot to do with how the games play out. Sometimes I've been doing far better than previous seasons, and them -boom- I just have 0 chance because the players you face are insane.

The Nemesis is a weird gun with the speed up function, it sort of negates the burstyness and the missing shots vs spray. But it isn't the same long range menace it was before.
