Re: Account Banned for NO REASON

But I just notice there are a lot of people getting banned for toxic behavior that thinks its because of cheating. In that link I'm pretty sure you can check your ban history as-well.

If its hacking you should try research your contact log, did you remember to enable 2FA or just using username password, in general the later is a guarantee for 3rd party being able to gain control over your account if they really want to.

I noticed a bit of a trend watching some streamers that many of them more or less auto report people they die to as aimbotters even if they legit players who just outplayed them, and when this is gaining traction in the streaming community im pretty sure normal people do the same. I dont know how this pans out when it comes to bans but I cant imagine its very helpful to find the actual hackers and cheaters.

My general advice is dont jump to the tos team, make sure you got the correct proof first so you dont spend your chances and get "muted"

  • Actually this is my 3rd time sending them my appeal. Sir, Hackers would probably forget this. like sweep this under the rug and create a new account to cheat again. People that are insisting like myself and others that they are not hacking and they're been banned / false positive hacking should be looked at. EA should consider us or look into our cases efficiently. They just send us automated e-mail. I'm sorry but I'm so stressed by being accused of hacking. I dont even know what I did. so I am asking for reason why did they just ban me. I hope they will fix my issue. Still patiently waiting.

    I am sorry to hear what has happened to you. 

    It looks like your account may have been hacked and the hacker cheated on your account from what you describe.

    You should contact and advisor via EA help in order to get your account back under your full control.

    To be on the safe side after you have your account back enable to factor ID for your account and related e-mail along with changing passwords.

    You should also try to have the advisor submit a ticket or provide you with info regarding their assistance so that you can submit a ticket with the ToS to attempt to get the ban lifted.

    I hope all goes well for you and that my suggestions help you out.

  • @Asmodeus566 I sent them an e-mail twice already regarding my situation. They just say "Due to this violation, we will not remove the sanction that was applied to your account" I wish they review my account precise and accurate. I already send again an e-mail to them. I am 100% sure that I am not hacking. I also want them to tell me what did I do wrong in-game so I could know. I am very confused now and don't know what to do. That's my one and only account.

    IF NONE OF THAT WORKED, CONTACT US Have this info ready:

    • The original email address on your EA Account.
    • Any usernames that are tied to your EA Account, like your EA ID, Xbox Live gamertag, or PlayStation™Network Online ID.
    • Any invoice numbers from games you’ve bought through EA Desktop or Origin.

    How to get ahold of us

    1. Click Contact Us at the top of any page on EA Help.
    2. Select Origin.
    3. Choose any platform.
    4. Select Manage my account for the Topic and Can’t log in for the Issue.
    5. Click Select contact option.
    6. Tell us your name and your email address, then click Next.
      • If you know the email on your account, you can put that in here. If you don’t, just use your current email.

    Once you do, you'll get the option to speak with one of our Advisors who will do what they can to get you back into your account.

    Still got no idea why they ban me. I'm still defending my side.
  • @Asmodeus566 Yes. Told me to wait again for further investigation. I hope they will lift the ban asap. I am innocent and still confused on what's happening with my account.

    Good to hear I hope.

    So you have already secured your account and changed passwords and enabled to factor ID?

    If yes thane that is great.

    Please be patient it could take some time for things to be straightened out. I have heard this can take up to 30 days.

  • @Asmodeus566 Split 2 is fast approaching. I really need to grind. Banning me for no reason is very stressful. Accused me from doing nothing in-game / using third party program. This is very sad. I haven't set up my 2 factor Authentication. EA sent me e-mail that they changed my password after detecting potentially suspicious activity associated with your EA Account. This creeps me out.

    Go in change you rpassword, then set up 2FA. Its critical, I dont even play games that dont dont support this as every site hacked where you got a password stored normally gets published so people get your passwords and can pretty much just log in to your accounts. The 2FA atleast protect you against bad passwords, and can prevent a ban situation 😉

  • @Zkepz I did reset my password because EA told me that they reset my password after detecting potential,suspicous activity. I'm still hoping my account will be unbanned since I did nothing wrong. I need justice for my account.

    Do yourself a favor and enable 2 Factor ID for your account and e-mail.

    You really do not want this to happen again, right.

    I understand your need to grind as we all love the game and have goals. 

    We do have to remember that securing or accounts are are responsibility and that what happens on them is also are responsibility. EA is at least reasonable when an account gets hacked because well hackers be hackers and 100% protection is not a guarantee. So hopefully EA will get you back to enjoying your games, but like I said it may take some time.

    You have to look on the bright side hear, you may end up missing part of the split and might not achieve your in game goals but that would be a small price to pay if EA is able to get your account back up and running.

    I sincerely concur with @Zkepz 2FA is a must. Do it, protect yourself, protect your account.
