Re: Forget Apex the now. How's your day?

@MandatoryIDtag Why did you have to burst my bubble? I had mental images of you going "doh" every time you did something dumb in game.

I used to eat between 6,000-9,000 calories a day. A single meal for me was 2400-3000 calories. No I'm not over weight, I'm 6'1 and 180lbs. But my doctor did tell me to knock off my old diet and eat healthy.

@Koochi-Q I dun’t know? 32oz of prime rib that on its own is 2400 calories toss in a potato, veggies and stuff. Don’t ask me how I’m not 600lbs according to my doctor I’m extremely active. I only sleep maybe 4-5 hours a night.

@DarthValtrex You darn americans with your loveable food and supersize stuff >.> come to Europe and you’ll starve to death or have a foodbill (counting groceries) of over 1k a month to keep your stomach saturated I just eat until my stomach stops gurgling cause if I ate until I was actually full I’d still be eating after 1 hour and would’ve eaten a meal worth of 4 ppl xD.

There’s brioche... it’s like 1400 calories. I eat that as a snack and ppl looked at me like ‘the fuc....fudge did you just eat. That’s 1400 calories... that’s what I eat in an entire day...’ and I’m like... “uhhh this was a snack, now I’m gonna eat something else cause I’m hungry...” XD.

I’m not active tho, but my metabolism is through the roof. I burn everything right away. Haters always said wait until you’re 20... then it turned to 25... then 30... then 35 or 40... well I’m still average build, doing nothing and flaunting that they were incorrect and they have to work to keep their bodies in check even tho they eat half of what I eat xD

@MandatoryIDtag Well I had to change my diet for health reasons. It's my understanding you can eat quite a bit especially if you're burning the calories.. You just want to make sure it's healthy food. Not high fat garbage like what I was eating. haha

@Koochi-Q Food is just as expensive in the US haha. I just don’t drive a nice car. It’s priorities.

And you can’t say we Americans! Some of the worlds top chefs come out of Europe!! Then there is European cheese!

    Brioche looks good.

@DarthValtrex If I look at prices of stuff here and there I see a good difference in quantity I’m getting XD. And exactly that’s why stuff here is expensive. Those stupid hot chefs that price everything up the wahoo! ☹️

LOLZ european cheese xD. We have some good stuff but if I do 10 euro groceries a day I could eat it all up that day... :P

@OverDecorated cheap food is def good, but if I want to live healthy I have to buy vegetables or fruit. What do you think I’ll get, 1 kilo bananas for 2.50 or spend that 2.50 on a pack of bread and low grade cheese OR cookies, chips and other unhealthy stuff which has more nutrient intake xD

I am just returned from docs and put on anti depressants and anti anxiety pills.

My job was building extensions for people so a lot of it was close to the homeowners and when covid hit the work slowed and after doing so much manual work and then nothing weight began to pile on and confidence hit an all time low, also hit the bottle a bit.

It's not what people want to hear but honestly guys, if your in a similar situation go get some help and don't hold it in or turn to alcohol like me, that's all.

@DarthValtrex So... after delving into the meme world and in particular Big Smoke’s order and seeing how much calories that was I thought to myself, how much calories was my ‘usual’ macdonalds intake.

From the age of 17 every time I paid for my own meals I’d spend 22-27 euros :P That was 2 big meals, 1/2 extra fries, 20 nuggies and 1/2 extra burgers, depending on the fries portion. Sometimes other stuff as well. Well there’s a calorie intake on MacDonalds site and for that amount my minimum calorie intake was 3.3K in one go... after like an hour I was hungry again tho xD.

So I was correct that if I did junkfood, I could do 3K+ on a meal. Now for your pleasure: https://youtu.be/A6g0mPo-uJM

I had a Scottish friend tell me to try the below, claiming it is the best pop there is. I ordered a 6 pack off Amazon for way too much money. It isn't very good. I still have 5 bottles left.

  • @CAGOA34  Yup, I can definitely relate to a certain extent dude, I'm a groundworker by trade, when the initial lockdown hit there was absolutely no work around and I was out of employment for around 3 months?

    Definitely a rough period financially.

@CAGOA34 That’s awesome that you identified the problem and worked on it.

I think COVID has been difficult for many. I’m furloughed at the moment and have been since about March.

I had gained some weight. Then found out I have some major medical issues. I’m high risk for having complications from COVID so I really had to take preventative measures seriously.

I started eating healthy, exercising snd doing other self improvement such as reading books. Lost most of the weight I gained. I set a goal of walking at least 2.5 miles a day. Some weeks I exercise more, other weeks I only manage the 2.5 mile walks. I’ve learned how not to cook as well! Finances aside, I will come out of this in a better place then I went into it.

It’s all about progress not perfection. My
Main goal is always to be moving forward. Some days I accomplish a ton, other days not so much. But I always work towards it.

@CAGOA34 You acknowledged the issue and are moving forward. All you can do. Hope things get better!
  • @hayhor You trusted a Scot?! Willy has some words for you https://media.tenor.com/images/fa16876e029710c0e6e0972a76a8cf65/tenor.gif

Lolz the thing is, I ate that regularly just because I was craving it. I didn’t even see it as eating well, but it filled my stomach for at least an hour so I was happy xD. Keeping my stomach saturated requires lots of input xD

What does the pop taste like? BTW in ‘Merica, is fanta also ‘juiced’? Before the whole health crisis, eat well and good without fat and such was a thing, pops/sodas almost didn’t contain ‘concentrated juices’. Years ago in alot of countries in Europe they added it to sodas to meet healthline standards/guidelines including fanta. Since those years (I’m speaking of at least 7 years now) fanta tastes like a waterdown version with less pop than it used to ☹️ is that also the case there or is it the same sweety goodness that gets me to take my nickers off while dancing in bliss?

@Koochi-Q I have no idea about juicing. Fanta is gross to me but lots of people like it. I drink stuff that is banned in a lot of places......Mt Dew. I seem to be drawn to the pops with the most sugars as orange pop like Crush and Sunkist are next in line for me and there are no pops that have as much sugar as those. I don't drink much pop tho overall. I'm a sugarholic through cookies instead. The picture of health I am not 😂
  • @hayhorWhen you go grocery shopping look if it says anything like ‘added orange juice’ or something like what it says here: https://theaustralianfoodshop.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/download.jfif_.jpg or here... this is that BS: https://www.thesun.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/nintchdbpict0003263744831.jpg

Tried mnt dew once I think but didn’t think anything of it. Since it’s an import item it’s like 1-1.50 per can... they can drink vodka out of a straw with their nose if they think I’ll pay that price for one can XD. Never heard of Sunkist or Crush tho.

I’m the picture of health! How do I do it? Eat/drink as much unhealthy stuff as is possible!

If fanta is not juiced there I know where to order my fanta from xD. International shipping just to get my real drink back!

[EDIT] We are def gonna duke it out on Apex if everything is sorted out and I acquire the feeling of playing again. HOW CAN YOU FIND FANTA GROSS! ☹️ Thats an insult to my character!

@Koochi-Q Yeah I don't think our fanta has juice.......I can't imagine sugar craving America would go for that.

You want me to go to the grocery? Ha thats so 2019! Since March I order my groceries online, drive to the store and they put it in my car without me having to get out. Even post covid ill likely stick to this.

Someday you will show up on my list and we can argue about fanta.
  • @hayhor Yea I figured sugar craving Americans would be the kind of ppl I could drink a good Fanta with. I just want the originally popping good Fanta flavor. Not the Fanta flavored juiciness they try to force feed us now! It’s not my Fanta!

You still have to drive to the store tho xD! Why don’t they deliver to you like they do here. If you dont do grocery shopping... the old way... look at your store’s fanta online and send screenshot or something! I can feel me ordering a bunch already!!! :P
